I ordered an acai bowl for pickup and was two streetlights away for like 5 min . Got there and paid for it and got back in my car . Opened up the bowl cause I was starving and it was already melted . The sides were all runny so I checked the middle to see if it was still sorbet frozen and nope super runny and melted . So I took the. Bowl back inside and waited in line . There was 4 people ahead of me and when I got to the cashier I asked for it to be remade possible because it was given to me melted . The guy proceeds to tell me it looks like you are from it no . I said no I havenât I opened it and did check the middle with the spoon but did not eat it . He said it looks like you ate it some is missing and then I tell him no itâs melted clearly . He then proceees to yell at me and get loud saying Iâm wrong and if he check his cameras Iâve been gone for 20 min already and Iâm trying to get a free bowl . Embrassing me in front of everyone that was in there . I say okay then go ahead check your cameras and when it proves youâre wrong I want my bowl remade . He then says no Iâm checking anything . CAUSE YOU KNOW IM RIGHT IT HASNT BEEN 20 min . Then he says idc so I said may I speak to the manager her says there gone and no . So I said can you call your manager then and he says no Iâm not going to and you donât tell me how to do my job . What kind of customer service is that . Another employees had to step in and deescalate the situation because I wasnât backing down to a 150 pound male screaming in my face idc . The other employee remade my bowl . The other Mexican guy I was arguing with stomped off the back cursing . Super unprofessional . I couldnât even eat the new bowl in fear the guy did something to it . Never going back here again .    Read moreFirst thing I noticed was the seating. There was a girl in a school uniform (I think) who might have been waiting to be picked up by her parents or something but she had a backpack on one chair and was pretending to sip on an empty drink while playing on her phone. The only other seating inside was a booth sized table which is kind of awkwardly placed in the corner so that if there's an angry looking customer who's waiting for an order, sitting there would be strange. So one guy waiting and one little girl camping out and there's no seating. Good thing it wasn't too long but I also noticed the girl in the back was blasting her own music (country) over the lobby music. She was singing along and busy doing something but it wasn't customers. Maybe dishes? I don't know but I can't imagine there being that many dishes.Although she seemed to kind of slip into a register when I was about to order. But I'm not totally sure what she was doing. It seemed awkward. The guy up front taking orders seemed to be handling the situation, I mean if it was one but it kind of felt like one. Last thing I noticed was that there is seating outside. But, one, it's 115 degrees. Ain't nobody wanna sit outside but even if they did, there was a large woman with a pile of stuff with her. Pretty sure she was homeless and I just wouldn't feel comfortable waiting for my drink and wondering when it's done in blistering heat thinking she was going to ask me for something. I feel bad for her but I just didn't have the patience to deal with it at the time. And I don't really have much to give. So anyways, the drink was ok. It was just ok. The flavor was there but maybe all the other stuff going on just didn't give it that extra kick I...
Read moreLONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ I had the most unpleasant experience coming to this location. I had just got done going for a run with my mom and decided to come to this location for a wheat grass shot since it was something that we had always done in the past after exercising. The total came out to be less than $10 for two shots. I gave the cashier two 5 dollar bills. They werenât wrinkled or anything as such, but she decided to mark the bills to test of they were authentic or not. I donât know if she did that because Iâm a Black man, how I was dressed, or a combination of both, but it was so uncomfortable that the man behind had to say something about it. I have never had 5 dollar bills checked before in my life and Iâve never gotten any bills checked before at this Jamba Juice location. Iâll never come to this location again because I honestly and truly feel that if I was a white man in a suit that wouldnât have happened. Being dressed in gym attire shouldnât have warranted me being discriminated against. Then to add fuel to the fire, after the man behind me said something the cashier says, âyou canât trust nobody nowadaysâ and the manager (which is sitting down on her break) says âyouâll be surprisedâ. I felt very uncomfortable, disturbed, and disrespected because I have always been a easygoing guy and never gave off that type of energy to alert someone that I might be trying to get over on them especially with two 5...
