Well, let’s start this review off with saying I did purchase this order through Uber Eats so I can’t really speak to the ambience of the restaurant although I did go inside about three days prior and it is a beautiful location on Craig Rd, but however, I will speak to that experience at a later time. for this interaction, my experience was extremely disappointing. I did have to call the restaurant directly and I spoke with Megan. She did tell me she was a manager and she definitely needs to be retrained on the phone. I can tell that I completely irritated her with the questions I had, and her inability to answer them, now let’s get to the root of the problem….
When I call to place my order as you can see if you go to the website on Uber Eats, you are able to inform the restaurant of the type of sauce that you want, the restaurant I wanted teriyaki sauce on my plate as the show there was no sauce on the food nor sauce in the bag…
I also ordered a side of tempura shrimp….. when you order The tempura shrimp you are required to enter what type of dipping sauce you want with your shrimp I selected the spicy mayo, again, no sauce, accompanied my order
When I called in and explained the situation that the food was extremely dry, and there was no sauce on the food, nor any sauces in the bag, there was an extremely articulate man that answered the phone. He was not sure how to rectify the problem, so he told me a supervisor/manager Would be taking over the call. That’s when Megan and I spoke she said they would be more than happy to remake my food and I was extremely pleased with that offer. Now I asked her how would I get the food? She said she didn’t know, and I told her, I spent over $30 that included delivery not to mention I did tip this person as well. She said all she could do was remake my food and that was it. There would be no compensation for anything else. I explained to Megan I have a disability that does not allow me to drive, she explained to me that there is nothing she can do about that and to take it up with Uber eats. My response was Uber Eats didn’t make the mistake your company did. She didn’t have an answer for me other than she would take my name and number and put it in her book. I said, would you like me to give it to you? she said no it came up on my phone, I asked her well. What is the name that you have? She did confirm my name but the number was incorrect. I provided her with the correct phone number advised her I would be entering my my review and release the.
It’s never my intent to provide these companies with a poor review. I honestly just believe that some of these employees just truly don’t care and don’t want to provide good customer service. Once they get called out or if they get called out, maybe the owners will do something about it maybe give them some coaching but ultimately they might get a slap on the wrist other than that they continue with their bad behavior. I truly just don’t believe human kindness exist in our...

A friend of mine reached out to me one day and asked me what I thought about Mo' Bettahs because he figured I would've tried it within days of its grand opening. He also figured since I've tried so many restaurants in the valley, and because I'm from Hawaii, it was a high possibility that I would've already visited. Unfortunately, I couldn't provide him any feedback because I've never been here before, not to mention, I have never heard of this franchise in my life. I almost felt like I let my friend and the entire Hawaiian population down because I wasn't knowledgeable of this restaurant. So immediately, my curiosity got to me and I had to try it.
My family and I visited this restaurant on 10 Jan 2024, around 6:50 pm. Whenever I walked in, the music was going and reminded me of the good ol' "hanabata days." 🌴 The classic, listening to "Jawaiian" music while having some awesome local cuisine always puts a smile on my face. Since we were new to this place, I wanted to try everything on the menu, so we got two mini plates (one plate had Shrimp Tempura and Teri Steak; the other plate had Kalua Pig and Chicken Katsu). The third item was the ekolu plate containing Kalua Pig, Teri Chicken, and Pulehu Chicken. We also ordered a couple spam musubis and three Hawaiian Sun drinks. Everything was great, especially the Chicken Katsu, Spam Musubi, Shrimp Tempura, Teri Chicken, and of course the rice. Unfortunately for me, my Pulehu Chicken was overcooked (dry). I don't believe for one second that this is normal for this restaurant, but still noteworthy to mention.
The employees working the front counter (food preparers and cashier) were VERY friendly and operated efficiently and rapidly. These days, customer service seems to be lacking...especially from the younger generation, so this was refreshing to see/experience and highly appreciated. Hoping management can identify and recognize these 3-4 employees based on the timeline I specified of our visit - truly phenomenal. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable...just like a lot of local Hawaiian places, they serve you massive amounts of food to make your stomach happy. I did, however, wish that this restaurant served some poke and/or lomi salmon to have on the side, but hey, I didn't lose any sleep over it.
Overall, this restaurant is good and if you haven't been here before, I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially to the folks who continually serve this city/country. Thank you, Mo' Bettahs for supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces, to include it...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food on Craig Road for lunch, and it was an experience that truly brought the aloha spirit to Las Vegas. The restaurant’s clean and inviting ambiance, with its Hawaiian hut theme, surfboards, and natural wood decor, immediately set the tone for an authentic island meal.
We both ordered “The Regular,” which came with two items, two scoops of white rice, and a scoop of their delicious macaroni salad. My wife enjoyed the Katsu Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, while I opted for the Teriyaki Beef and Pūleju Chicken. The food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, leaving us both satisfied, although my wife couldn't resist diving into the Spam Musubi, which she loved, even before finishing her main plate.
One of the standout features of Mo' Bettahs is their drive-thru and dedicated online order pickup window, making it super convenient for those on the go. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any requests, which added to the overall positive experience.
In addition to the food, they offer a variety of drink options, including some hard-to-find flavors like POG Juice (Passion Orange Guava) and Zero Sugar options, which we appreciated. The drink station was well-stocked, and the ice-cold beverages were the perfect complement to our meal.
The restaurant also does an excellent job of sharing its connection to Hawaiian culture, with informational cards that explain the heritage and mission behind Mo' Bettahs, making the experience feel even more genuine.
Overall, Mo' Bettahs offers a tasty, authentic Hawaiian meal with the convenience of fast food, without compromising on quality or atmosphere. Whether you're dining in or taking out, it's a great spot to satisfy your craving for...
