I had an unpleasant interaction with "manager" Shelbi yesterday at the Cannery location. My daughter is a minor employed with your company. I walked into this location to see if she was in fact off work 15 minutes after she was to be clocked out (as this has happened prior with no notification given to her about being forced to stay late when her ride is already on site by Shelbi) to check. Upon walking in, I asked one of the staff where she was located. I was told my daughter was in the bathroom crying "again" from this manager "yelling" at her. This has happened multiple times and my daughter has been taught to respect her elders. I asked the employee at the counter if she could get Shelbi for me. Once Shelbi approached the counter, I asked her where my daughter was. Shelbi stated she did not know but she would find her. My daughter shortly after came from the restroom visibly shaking as evidenced by her eyes being puffy and cheeks flush. I let her know to get her items so that we could leave. I asked for the staff to get Shelbi again as she never returned to the counter. When she did come back to the counter I asked if I could speak with her, she agreed. She stated she did not want to come from around the counter and speak with me, as I wanted to avoid any confrontation in front of customers. I asked if she had an issue with my daughter. She stated no. I then asked her why is she continuously yelling at her? Shelbi states, Oh no, I never yell. I am very stern and everyone has there way of doing things". I let her know that I do agree with her about correction so that one can execute their job tasks effectively and appropriately. However, making a work place hostile and threatening with the remarks you make towards or about someone to them and other staff is NOT appropriate and is bullying. In addition to having a manger that bullies you makes it difficult to address your concerns. Shelbi continued to try and over talk me, then stated if your daughter does not like how she is treated she can quit. I let her know she would not be quitting and I asked for her Supervisors information, which she refused to give me. I let her know I was no longer going to engage with her and we can continue the conversation with her supervisor. I thanked her and excused myself from the conversation and walked away. As I am walking away, Shelbi is continuously talking behind me stating, "this conversation is over and won't be happening again, you will NOT be meeting with the Supervisor or the owner". The aggression I felt from her, I can only imagine what the staff is subjected to. It should be noted that my daughter enjoys her job until she has to work with Shelbi. She has been with the company just over 2 months and has had issues with Shelbi from the beginning. I advised her to start documenting the interactions prior to this particular interaction. Although my daughter is not the type to make wave, she should not be bullied. I obtained the information I needed and made a complaint through that individual as well. I am currently awaiting a call to speak more in depth about the...
Read moreOkay, I know that there isnât a Nutella and banana flavored shake on the menu, but isnât that the cool part about food and restaurants? You can add and subtract things, just like you can order a burger with no condiments, why am I always first given a no, to a question to order more food and spend more money? Who at this restaurant is telling people to not mix the milk shakes? Even with my âemployee discountâ and since Iâm an âemployeeâ that was the reason, they were able to help me with ordering the milkshake that I wanted. Thereâs one lady, Thatâs usually there to take my order, who also initially rejected my request to order a mixed milkshake, but sheâs been awesome, Iâm bad with names, she has short blonde hair, and works in the evening time. Very nice. But yeah Iâm already paying a lot of money, for fast food, please donât make me feel like an alien because I want candy in my milkshake, thanks. Oh yeah, you guys really rubbed me the wrong way from the start, with your...
Read moreOur first time trying, steak 'n shake and it wasn't bad at all.
Shakes are awesome and so addicting. Gotta keep going to the last drop. We had strawberry and of course oreo cookie n cream shake.
For the burgers, we ordered the western burger and I thought I ordered the frisco burger. Based on the picture, I thought it was on like a toast bread. Either way the burgers were good and I really enjoyed the slice of pickles they put in the burger. My husband complained that the burger was tiny and didn't look like the picture.
Fries were fresh and hot. Chili cheese fries were good as well. I highly recommend the onion rings, so crispy and not soggy. The way a perfect onion ring should taste.
Definitely, would go back again. This was a good addition for the...
