My wife and I decided to go to wendy's this evening. Decided to order online for pickup. My order was sent through at 7:04 finally got my food at 7:34. I understand that they are a little short staffed and they were extremely busy in the drive- thru, but the workers seemed be fixated on drive- thru only. I fault the cooperation for this, because they get timed on how long it takes to get a drive- thru order completed hence the reason for ignoring instore and online orders. There were points at which no employees could be seen from the counter. Also, being that busy and waiting 30 minutes for my meal, instead of the 5 minutes that is relayed to you after submitting an online order, my food wad cold. Being from the food industry myself, my food should have been hot because of having to replenish with fresh burgers and fresh fries while so busy. We were very unsatisfied with our meals due to the temperature and my large fry container was only half full. Finally I understand that the main crew of fast food facilities are teenager. That's why on a Friday and Saturday evening the teenagers should have management to direct the flow of the crew, instead of letting them alone to concentrate on driver- thruinstead of inside and...
Read moreLiterally experienced my best friend getting a razor blade in her bag of food today. She's by far the most honest person I know. Despite the staff there accused her of placing it herself to obtain free food. NO!!! You barked up the wrong tree. She didn't even want a refund, free food or money. She wanted an explanation as to how it got in the bag. On video, your manager (not Brian my neighbor) cursed at her, accused her of lying and her employee beside her threatened to hurt her physically and had to be restrained. Other customers as well recorded this on their cell phones. Contact me anytime if you want to see this. If these employee's still have job by Friday I would be shocked. I'm pretty certain Wendy's corporate will enjoy this video and find it sickening to know the truth this video holds. If it were me this video would be sent to every news station within North America. Today I'm ashamed to even say I ever paid a single penny to this establishment. But I can say unless this handled immediately I NEVER will again. Shame on the employee's that were a part of this. As for the one clearly threatening this mom with her 4 of her beautiful children with her. Well what you did is blatantly a criminal action...
Read moreI understand that these are new and special times and that Wendy’s needs to protect their workers, but 25 min to pickup a prepaid mobile order is too long! Here are some suggestions for speeding things up. Have mobile orders park in front, text Wendy’s when they arrive, then have a table outside the door and have a server place an order on the table, call it out and go back inside and have the recipient pick it up. Many restaurants are doing this with take out. What might be easier and work better is to have one drive through line as you currently do, but have new orders pull around to the front and do the table arrangement with them, thus allowing mobile orders to move along more quickly. Otherwise just drop mobile orders completely. There is no benefit to the person ordering. You can’t even request things like lite ice or specialty sodas, you can do that at the store. If this is going to continue indefinitely or repeat next year, you’re going to have to do better or people will go to the restaurants that already are. It’s time to get...
