It kills me to write about this place given it’s my first time ever dining in and my second time eating here in life due to my in laws. Ok so, me and my family went out to eat tonight just to have a cool little Sunday and do something to get out the house. Me and my fiancé ordered alcohol beverages, and I didn’t get a chance to even take a sip. My 6 month old baby started to get frustrated and cry, so we decided to leave the restaurant. Mind you all, I already know the policy about you can’t take alcohol beverages out of the restaurant. Ok, my sister ordered a sprite and I wanted a cup of ice. I’m in a rush to leave and the waiter is taking forever to bring me the cups I asked for. So I get up, going to get the cups myself because my baby is acting up and we trying to leave before causing a scene or have her to get more frustrated. While I’m getting the cups I asked for, a waiter(not my waiter) comes and snatch the cups out of my hand, saying “You can’t have those, we have cameras. You’re not allowed to take alcohol beverages out of here!” When I tell y’all it took everything in me to not haul off and pop the damn woman or go off on her! She caught me by surprise, because I’m trying to figure out what is she talking about and why come up to me and snatch cups out my hands not knowing what else I ordered and didn’t care. Then my waiter come explaining to her, that my sister has a soda and I needed a cup of ice. She’s still talking and talking, but it rubbed me completely the wrong way. Not only will I not be back there again, but I’ll be reporting her. She literally ruined my whole day and Lord knows I was...
Read moreIf I was judging off the atmosphere alone hands down they would get 5 stars. My only complaint, hence the 4 star, was that it took a long time for us to get our order in, get the food, and get the check. Don't get me wrong, it was for a girl's night, so it's not like I was bored. I just felt bad for my friend with a newborn because her baby was starting to be really upset and we couldn't find anyone to pay. They weren't insanely busy, but we couldn't seem to get a hold of our waitress most of the night. I guess what I am saying is, plan on it being a very sit down and enjoy type restaurant. They do provide chips and salsa, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was pretty good. I was a little disappointed in my chicken. I could barely cut it, but to be completely fair, I ate it all without any regrets, so... ;) Portions sizes are very generous. You won’t go home hungry on that account. The drinks are massive. The small is the size of a grapefruit, but in cup form. The medium is a little smaller than a coconut. Don't know about the big mama, but big is probably the operative word. I can't tell you if they are good because I don't drink, but everyone who got one seemed to be enjoying theirs. As for price, it was on par with most restaurants for dinner. It's not super expensive, but not fast food...
Read moreThe food was okay as far as taste. This is the only Mexican resturant I've been to thats been stingy with the meat. I got i steak fajita nacho and it was full of onion and peppers that were extra crunch(pretty much still raw) but i had to search for my steak. The cheese is very watery on the nacho. I don't think they drain the meat or peppers first before adding them to your plate.I also had 2 margaritas. They were good. Very sweet but extremely weak. It taste the same as drinking the margarita mix by itself.
When we first arrived there were only maybe 4 to 5 parties in the whole resturant. The host tried to sit us at a dirty table with the seat full of food debris( there had to be 20plus clean tables). When I asked her to clean it she just stared so I asked her could we just sit at the clean table behind it. She threw her hands up with frustration and said "sit wherever you want I dont even care anymore" and walked off. A man came out right after that and delt with us the rest of the time and he was a...
