If I could have given this a negative five I would have. Today I have had the worst experience in restaurant history of all my 54 years of this life. I went with my son to Jason's deli to have an evening meal little did I know all I would be eating is soup. They take their time taking my order. I ordered a grilled cheese and soup special I asked the lady to put Ham on my grilled cheese. When we get the food the waitress comes out to let me know that I wasn't able to get ham because the manager felt that we didn't pay for the ham. She proceeds to get our ticket and shows him that we paid for the ham she let us know that the sandwich will be remade and he'll have it out soon. The manager decided to make another grilled cheese sandwich without ham which we hear him say" oh man, and he threw that one away because he still did not put the ham on it, so about 30 minutes and we still have no sandwich. He looks at us and he says what y'all didn't get something on your ordered because at this point we are just staring at him. I proceed to let him know no we didn't get what we ordered because I've never got my sandwich. He tells me that he had forgot and his problem was not with me it was with them that took the order which I inform him the problem is with me because I never got the sandwich. He decides to say oh, I thought I heard you say you didn't want it, you said you didn't want the sandwich I told him at this point I don't I'm just going to write a review about how this restaurant is so poorly ran and the mangers are really a sorry group. Two managers and no one thought to make this right nor give me a refund for the sandwich. upon Us leaving the restaurant he decides to say out loud to one of his coworkers as we're leaving the restaurant. which I know he is referring to me because the restaurant was practically empty probably from the poor service that they give to everyone. That these customers are something else. Now mind you had I not been tired and just ready to go at that point I really would have given him zero to 100 in two seconds but I'm going to take the bigger persons role and I'm going to write this review and I hope corporate fires Mike the manager or should I say want to be manager they had two managers on duty and I still did not receive what I paid for and they got a tip prior to me even getting my food and I still didn't get what I paid for. Never again North Little Rock Jason's deli will never get any more...
Read moreI love the consistency and quality of the food. I just went there a few days ago for the first time in over 6 months. I ordered the same thing I always have for years. I used to go to another location very frequently on my lunch breaks and let me just say that I was sticker shocked! The price has more than doubled and all I ordered was a sandwich; no drink. The cashier must hear people's reactions frequently because her facial expression said it all. This same sandwich with a drink used to be under $8 for years. Then it went up to nearly $10 for a few more years. I was there last October and it was just over $11. It was almost $19 with no drink! I really don't understand how they can justify such a huge price increase for a ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, romaine lettuce on a toasted croissant with some potato chips costing them more than 2x the price in a 10 year span, but really it's an $8 jump in 10 months! Shocked! Customer service is never lacking. My only complaint is that no matter which location; they all seem to have problems with their frozen yogurt machines. When it works; it's the extra reason to choose Jason's vs. any other place around. I actually haven't had any problems having my swirl frozen yogurt in the past 3 to 4 years so that is a positive for their business. I probably won't return for another 10 months, unfortunately I could have a hot meal for my whole...
Read moreAfter I paid, they informed me it would only be a 1 trip to salad bar, there were 4 of us, so I paid almost $40 for us to have 1 trip to the salad bar. Then, about 1/3 of the tubs on the salad bar were empty. One of the employees snapped at someone in my party because there were 5 people at the salad bar and there was only supposed to be 4. The 4 people in my party were there before the 5th showed up. Also, it wasn't posted that only 4 could be at the salad bar. I'm not disagreeing with the policy as I know social distancing is necessary and I appreciate their effort. Next, once we finally got someone to replace some of the empty tubs, we went to sit down and there wasn't a single empty table that wasn't dirty. We had to ask someone to clean off a table and again they got an attitude. It wasn't busy at all, and historically this Jason's has been a clean, great place to eat, but on this day the staff was rude and the restaurant was nasty. Floors were dirty, tables were not cleaned off and once it they cleaned one for us they definitely DID NOT sanitize it to help prevent the spread of covid. The final straw was when you pay for a salad bar, the ice cream cone machine always comes with it. This one has been conveniently out of order for a while. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the visit and won't be back...
