Subway — Restaurant in North Little Rock

Boy, what a reFRESHing experience! Don’t let the fact that this Subway is concatenated with a Big Red/Valero fool you- it is a valuable part of the fast food ecosystem in downtown North Little Rock and if you haven’t been, you should go.

When I visited this location, Cassie and Jennifer were the sandwich artists on duty. True paragons of selfless, smile-laden customer service, they went to great lengths to not simply ensure that I got what I wanted, but to also imbue my food with the care and quality they demonstrated in their customer interactions.

The gentleman who placed his order before me had a couple more questions and special accommodations than the typical customer, but no worries- The Irrefutable Toppest of Notch Sandwich Artists Cassie and Jennifer were happy to oblige. Their patience was laudable, their skills obvious, and their eagerness to please was palpable and the fellow left as smug as a skinny frog with a bucket of grubs, but not before remarking on their extended item availability and stating that he would be frequenting the joint to partake again.

Cassie and Jennifer went so far as to toast another bread for one of my sandwiches as Jennifer’s expert judgment told her the bread my sandwich was prepared with did not meet her standards of toasty crunch Vs. soft, pliable edibility. She also offered me a sample of a sauce that piqued my interest- the Parmesan Vinaigrette- which I found to be quite to my liking.

Overall, this was the best, most enthusiastic service I’ve received at any Subway, let alone fast food in general. It left such an impression on me, in fact, that I was inspired to whip up this review and drop it on a public forum such as this.

Order a salad off the app. Asked nicely to cut my vegetables in half for me , and most of all no olives. They did the absolute opposite of what I asked. I then called location and let them know my order was wrong she said she couldn’t replace it unless I brought the salad back and I’m on a 30min lunch break. I will never come here again! The lady’s that worked tonight was so damn hateful. I got there 7:40 and they both had bad attitudes and told me next time get there before 8!
