So here is the story. I have been going here for years. Never had an issue. Always seemed like a nice place with nice owner. I live across the street so I go pretty often here. Today my sister bough a Challah and when she got home and opened it up for shabbat it had a piece of hair in it. Since my sister lives far away I took a picture and went back to the bakery with the receipt and a photo. The owners mom was beyond rude and spoke very disrespectful. She said where is the challah, I told her it was with my sister in Lauderdale. She said well here is your $8 back you are not welcome here anymore. I have owned many restaurants in my life. If I ever spoke to a customer this way they would have thrown tomatoes at my windows.If you want kosher bakery go to Kosher Kingdom or Sarahs Tent. They are a lot more polite then them! They didn't really have anything but cookies, challot, and other assorted breads on display. And the lady upfront didn't speak English.
The others there were busy baking in the back.
Maybe they were busy baking for the next day and woukd have had more items on display/available for purchase.
I was going to give only 3 stars, but they still have tasty cookies and pastries which I bought some and hope to try them again when they have someone else upfront who can assist...
