Dairy Queen Grill and Chill — Restaurant in North Olmsted

My husband ordered a white on white cake for my granddaughters birthday tonight from DQ in North Olmsted. (They don’t like the chocolate). He asked for noon pick up but I couldn’t pick up until 3:30 or close to 4. Unfortunately they had a power issue. I feel bad about that but the manager was very sitting outside and when I asked, said it was my fault for not picking it up at noon. Really?? I went to the DQ in Rocky River with the BEST service from all 3 workers but I needed to buy the white & chocolate. I get it. They can’t just make it for me on the spot. An hour later the manager called wondering when I’m going to pick up the cake. I told her I had to settle for a cake that is going to be 1/2 eaten. She was very nasty on the call again berating me multiple times that it’s my fault for not picking it up at noon. I’ve been in retail my entire career. The least I would do is say ‘I’m sorry this happened.’ I would not blame my customer and I’d also ask my customer to drive on down as power was restored and pick up the cake on me..or even 1/2 price to satisfy this family and customer. this place should be rated a 0/5 respectfully. I cannot believe the service we got at this Dq location it was preposterous. The staff was very rude. They messed up on my order and were disrespectful and rude to me when i drove back to get a exchange. When i pulled in the drive thru i explained to them that they got my order wrong and gave something different. The lady on the speaker was being rude and arguing and telling me that they heard me say i want a sundae. I ordered a fudge stuffed cookie sundae when i clearly told them what i wanted. The lady savanna claims shes the manager but she was insisting on causing problems with me. I just wanted what i ordered or at least get my money back. They cussed me out savannah and the guy at the window before finally giving my money back. This is by far my worst experiences going to a DQ. I am never going to this location again. The person taking my order was rude and short with me. He was annoyed that I had a coupon. He also didn’t tell me my total before I pulled to the window. When I got there, the girl told me my total without the coupon and never mentioned anything about it. No biggie, it happens. When I tried to politely inform her that I had a coupon she just said “yeah “ and quickly snatched my card and coupon out of my hand before telling me whether or not she applied my coupon. They guy who brought my order to my car was actually nice to me. However, when I got home, I realized that my food was crudely thrown in the bag. My onion rings were smushed and touching my receipt which is unsanitary. And our burgers look like someone sat on them. This was unacceptable.
