This was my third visit to this location, and once again, the food failed to impress. I ordered the cheddar smoked brisket sandwich, but if it was truly smoked, I certainly couldn’t taste it. Instead, it seemed like something left under a heat lamp, completely devoid of seasoning. Even the roll was unpleasantly hard. Hoping to salvage some flavor, I requested a side of BBQ sauce—unfortunately, that didn't help either. The steak tasted exactly like their smoked Philly cheesecake sandwich, noticeably lacking the distinct texture and taste of genuine smoked brisket I’ve had elsewhere. There was one bright spot—the French fries! Crispy and delicious, they were proof that the kitchen can at least produce quality fried food. As for the service… just wow. After this experience, we will NOT be returning. Our server was incredibly rude, unfriendly, and seemed visibly irritated when answering questions about the menu, as if talking about something she despised. The worst moment came at the end of the meal when we paid with a combination of a gift card and credit card. Upon seeing the gift card, she sarcastically and loudly remarked, “Yay, a gift card…” making us feel belittled for using a Christmas gift. It was shockingly unprofessional and downright unpleasant. Between the disappointing food and disrespectful service, this was an overall terrible experience. We won’t be back.

Visited 8/29/22 Initial reaction is this place will be amazing, but this is simply not the case. Arrived - 3:15 server greeted us- 3:24 Drinks delivered - 334p Appetizers / food ordered - 3:43 Appetizers arrived - 3:57 *had to ask for plates to eat… LOL Food Arrived - 4:11pm Asked for ketchup / Mayo - 4:11 Got condiments - 4:14 Had to ask for refills Finished eating - 4:24p Check - 4-28p BBQ sauce tastes vinegary. Honey BBQ sauce is not good either. Pulled pork “beauty and the sissy” has a bunch of gristle.” - it’s season like breakfast sausage. It’s spicy hot. **side note we aren’t at a bbq restaurant we’re at a brewery. I had the Cod fish n chips - but the fish didn’t have any flavor. Better get it deep fried rather than grilled. Bacon cheeseburger was over cooked but we did ask for it to be well done. Face masks worn by all servers and staff we could see. Bathrooms are clean We did buy a growler as we were leaving and the bottled leaked. You’d think the lids would keep the liquid in. The food here might taste good if you’re drunk. The nachos and frys were amazing! About all they had going for them. The root beer tasted well… good luck on that. I didn’t like the after taste.

This place needs no real introduction. It has been a staple for years, although I have only recently been to this location. Parking usually ends up being a bit if a challenge. The interior is roomy, but the parking lot is often filled before the building is. I want to start off by saying their beer is great. Staples like Bumbleberry and Headhunter have been longtime favorites of mine. I tried their Saison my last visit, and that was delicious. The food is honestly mediocre. Fries, wings, and fried appetizers are solid. So far other items are suspect. The burgers have been overcooked/underseasoned. A friend's flatbread had a peculiar Capicola that tasted somewhat rancid. Large menus typically lead to a drop in quality, and I feel that is reflected here. It's a large, lively atmosphere that caters to bigger parties. The beer selection is great, and they are very good at their craft. As far as food goes, I suggest sticking to the simpler dishes and standard bar foods (wings, fried apps)

My husband and his friend stopped in yesterday 11/11/15 to enjoy Fathead's excellent microbrews. This was not their first visit and have always enjoyed this brewery as a meeting place. After enjoying a few beers and 1 order of chicken wings it was made know to them that it was going to be shift change and would they cash out or prefer to transfer the tab to the oncoming waitress. We are very sensitive to this and will very often cash out so the waitress can be tipped before she leaves rather than trying to receive her portion of the tip the next day from her relief. In this particular instance they were not paying with cash and did not wish to put 2 charges on the credit card for one visit. My husband expressed that he could tell the waitress was very annoyed at the time and would have preferred they settle up. When it was time to finally cash out they received the bill only to notice that their were charges that were not theirs. There was an extra beer( a kind which neither one of them drink) and 2 half slabs of ribs. The oncoming waitress (who obviously would have no idea what they ate prior to her arrival) said she would have to get the manager which was the appropriate action to take. They waited for a half an hr before he came to the table and stated that he had spoken to the prior waitress who confirmed that in fact they had ordered ribs. My husband explained that he did not order any food because he had eaten prior to arriving and his friend ordered chicken wings and was taking half of them home as evidenced by the to go container. The manager's response was "I don't know you two but I certainly know my waitress and she would not lie". They absolutely did not order these items and ridiculously had to try defend themselves against charges on the bill that they did not accrue. We have NEVER had this experience anywhere! Not sure what the glitch in your system was but this was absolutely outrageous. I have serious concerns about how this was addressed and if I were that manage or an owner I would be even more concerned with my waitress. I am hopeful that she had a lot of tables and was simply a little confused. Unfortunately the manager's less than professional words (implying they were obviously lying because the waitress wasn't) are what we will remember about Fatheads rather than the fantastic brewery that it really is. Very...

Quantity doesn't always mean quality. We're still trying to figure out what all the fuss is about. We've decided that people must really like to receive A LOT of food. But I'd rather pay more for smaller portions if it's better quality. The first time we visited Fatheads it was busy, which I guess is often. We were told it would be 20 minutes (no problem!) and were given a pager. We waited outside because it was nice out. About a half hour passed and it started to rain, so we decided to wait inside. When we got inside, the lobby was empty. They had seated everyone who came in after us and must have forgotten about us. They didn't apologize and said they had paged everyone (though our buzzer never went off). We left. When we tried to call a manager, they would not let us talk to one. Whatever, we let it go. Today we decided to give the joint another shot for our 2-year anniversary dinner because it was nearby and we were already very hungry. We order nachos. They were very salty, and we didn't like that they were potato chips. We would have liked tortilla chips. Also, the meat was way overcooked. We barely touched them. Our food came with MOUNDS of more overly salty potato chips, of which we did not eat. The pulled pork burrito had WAY too much bacon in it. I do NOT recommend. My girlfriend ordered the kielbasa and pierogi sandwich. She ended up taking all of the kielbasa off and just ate the two pierogis and bread. Overall, the food did not taste good, and we were upset we wasted our anniversary there and our money. We regretted giving them a second chance after what happened the first time. We should have listened to our gut. But hey, they must be doing something right if they are always so busy. We just won't...

Edit 11/8/2020: With the gorgeous weather this weekend we went to Fat Heads yesterday to eat on the patio. We were greeted kindly and taken and taken our seat. When the waitress (of course I can't recall her name, If it helps we sat on the patio just after noon at the table just south of the exit of the restaurant against the fence) came to the table she asked for our drink order. My wife said she would have a Diet Coke and I had brought a bottle of water with me so I said I'll just stick to my water. The waitress said to me "I have to at least bring you one of our waters in case you have vodka in the bottle and are mixing drinks" 1. I don't drink alcohol so I was very offended by this. 2. I don't drink much when I eat so it's a waste to purchase a Coke for a couple sips. 3. I prefer to keep the items I touch while I'm eating during the virus to a minimum. The waitress provided average at best service, was not rude but not friendly either. She did not bring a refill to my wife until after he food was finished so we asked if we could dump it in a to go cup so it didn't go to waste. She said you don't have to go cups. Maybe this is true but hard to believe with carryout being all the rage right now. Or if you do have cups and don't want to eat the cost if this ever happens again say the cups are a quarter or whatever. The food was excellent and piping hot and made to order as usual like many other previous experiences.

Since the pandemic and while the weather is good we have been frequenting the patio at Fat Heads North Olmsted. The service has been great on each occasion and the food even better. The Fatty Melt is my go to burger. Food is always cooked as ordered, outdoor seating is nice...
