My husband and his friend stopped in yesterday 11/11/15 to enjoy Fathead's excellent microbrews. This was not their first visit and have always enjoyed this brewery as a meeting place. After enjoying a few beers and 1 order of chicken wings it was made know to them that it was going to be shift change and would they cash out or prefer to transfer the tab to the oncoming waitress. We are very sensitive to this and will very often cash out so the waitress can be tipped before she leaves rather than trying to receive her portion of the tip the next day from her relief. In this particular instance they were not paying with cash and did not wish to put 2 charges on the credit card for one visit. My husband expressed that he could tell the waitress was very annoyed at the time and would have preferred they settle up. When it was time to finally cash out they received the bill only to notice that their were charges that were not theirs. There was an extra beer( a kind which neither one of them drink) and 2 half slabs of ribs. The oncoming waitress (who obviously would have no idea what they ate prior to her arrival) said she would have to get the manager which was the appropriate action to take. They waited for a half an hr before he came to the table and stated that he had spoken to the prior waitress who confirmed that in fact they had ordered ribs. My husband explained that he did not order any food because he had eaten prior to arriving and his friend ordered chicken wings and was taking half of them home as evidenced by the to go container. The manager's response was "I don't know you two but I certainly know my waitress and she would not lie". They absolutely did not order these items and ridiculously had to try defend themselves against charges on the bill that they did not accrue. We have NEVER had this experience anywhere! Not sure what the glitch in your system was but this was absolutely outrageous. I have serious concerns about how this was addressed and if I were that manage or an owner I would be even more concerned with my waitress. I am hopeful that she had a lot of tables and was simply a little confused. Unfortunately the manager's less than professional words (implying they were obviously lying because the waitress wasn't) are what we will remember about Fatheads rather than the fantastic brewery that it really is. Very...

But I'd rather pay more for smaller portions if it's better quality. The first time we visited Fatheads it was busy, which I guess is often. We were told it would be 20 minutes (no problem!) and were given a pager. We waited outside because it was nice out. About a half hour passed and it started to rain, so we decided to wait inside. When we got inside, the lobby was empty. They had seated everyone who came in after us and must have forgotten about us. They didn't apologize and said they had paged everyone (though our buzzer never went off). We left. When we tried to call a manager, they would not let us talk to one. Whatever, we let it go. Today we decided to give the joint another shot for our 2-year anniversary dinner because it was nearby and we were already very hungry. We order nachos. They were very salty, and we didn't like that they were potato chips. We would have liked tortilla chips. Also, the meat was way overcooked. We barely touched them. Our food came with MOUNDS of more overly salty potato chips, of which we did not eat. The pulled pork burrito had WAY too much bacon in it. I do NOT recommend. My girlfriend ordered the kielbasa and pierogi sandwich. She ended up taking all of the kielbasa off and just ate the two pierogis and bread. Overall, the food did not taste good, and we were upset we wasted our anniversary there and our money. We regretted giving them a second chance after what happened the first time. We should have listened to our gut. But hey, they must be doing something right if they are always so busy. We just won't...

When the waitress (of course I can't recall her name, If it helps we sat on the patio just after noon at the table just south of the exit of the restaurant against the fence) came to the table she asked for our drink order. My wife said she would have a Diet Coke and I had brought a bottle of water with me so I said I'll just stick to my water. The waitress said to me "I have to at least bring you one of our waters in case you have vodka in the bottle and are mixing drinks" 1. I don't drink alcohol so I was very offended by this. 2. I don't drink much when I eat so it's a waste to purchase a Coke for a couple sips. 3. I prefer to keep the items I touch while I'm eating during the virus to a minimum. The waitress provided average at best service, was not rude but not friendly either. She did not bring a refill to my wife until after he food was finished so we asked if we could dump it in a to go cup so it didn't go to waste. She said you don't have to go cups. Maybe this is true but hard to believe with carryout being all the rage right now. Or if you do have cups and don't want to eat the cost if this ever happens again say the cups are a quarter or whatever. The food was excellent and piping hot and made to order as usual like many other previous experiences.
Since the pandemic and while the weather is good we have been frequenting the patio at Fat Heads North Olmsted. The service has been great on each occasion and the food even better. The Fatty Melt is my go to burger. Food is always cooked as ordered, outdoor seating is nice...
