About 6 months ago, I went to this place with my 3 kids. I only ordered Teriyaki chicken with white rice, nothing else. Both of which they had TONS ready to go. Instead of filling my simple order with what they had, they filled orders as they got them (and any delivery person that came in of course got their orders filled immediately). Had to wait about 15 minutes while they cooked all the other random orders before mine before they finally scooped out of the the huge piles of done chicken and rice that has already been sitting the entire time I was waiting. There was plenty of time any of the employees that was standing around doing nothing or messing around with other employees doing nothing that they could have scooped out my simple order, but had 0 care that I could have been out the door instantly and waited until all the other orders of other things that had to be specially cooked were filled.
Bad management, I get it it. But when they finally gave me my order, I asked for 3 sides of sauce (1 for each of my children). The jerk THROWS one in the bag and just gives me a dirty look. I ask again for the other 2 of the 3 I originally asked for, and he just throws 1 more in my bag with the same dirty look on his face. I've loved the food for the last 2 decades, but there's something wrong with the staff they have now. Haven't been back since, probably never will. If I didn't want to get my kids home and fed I would have brought it up with the manager then and there, but obviously that would have been pointless if that's how said manager lets...
Read moreI placed and online order here for pick up when I arrived they had stated they didn’t have my order. I then showed the cashier and manager proof of order and then they proceeded to check the completed orders and it was in there they had already given out my food to someone else. I didn’t react rude unlike the coworkers there she slammed the order on the counter like I gave my own food away. Then after waiting another 20 minutes to get my food the worker rudely gave me the food. Then when I had got home to finally eat my food my order was wrong I paid for chicken and shrimp plus extra chicken I didn’t get my shrimp. I had called up in a calm manner stating the mishap and can you believe the manager hung up on me after all this? Then I tried to call back once more and they answered it and hung up the phone on me. Read moreFood is generally OK, but the staff needs to be shown the door; especially the men cooking. They think it's fun to make comments in another language about the customer standing right in front of them, (two guys on the customer-facing prep line) and NEVER thought for a second I might speak it when in fact I do. Fluently. I kept my mouth shut and let them carry on talking about me and left.
As to the "atmosphere" there is none. One door has been shattered for a month and apparently the permanent solution is to tape it together. Inside is no better than you'd find in a breakroom at work; though your breakroom at work probably wipes down the tables more.
Best to avoid the place unless you like being the subject of being talked about and mocked by the kitchen staff. I can get just as good/better food at the mall foodcourt without the hassle from this place.
Overall one star due to the staff. Drive two minutes east and save...
