I have never walked out of a restaurant before, but I donât even think the staff noticed. My partner and I came here to eat and were seated by the host within five minutes of waiting. We donât mind waiting, that was not the issue. The issue is that it was the last time someone spoke to us. It was 3 PM on a Monday, it wasnât very busy. We waited about 20 minutes before pushing the âcall serverâ button on our tablet, but no one came. There was another table seated at the same exact time we were by the host in the same area, so we could watch them place drink and food orders and receive both.
Finally, a random waitress (not sure if she was our server, we never actually were told), asked if anyone had come to take our orders yet. We said we didnât and she took our drink orders. We never saw her again. Just water and an iced tea, we never received either. Worst part of the whole experience was watching the table directly across from us in the same area come in at the same time and get drinks, breadsticks, and their food. About 50 minutes passed, we never received our drinks or even got our server to come take our food orders. Staff wouldnât come to us despite us trying to wave them down. They stood in the corners and just didnât do anything, pretending they didnât see us as they stared blankly directly at us. Instead of making a scene, my partner and I decided to call it quits and left for the Italian place across the street after 50 minutes of not speaking to our server and watching the other table get to eat. This was my first and last time visiting this Olive Garden location. Iâve never had to walk out of a restaurant before, hopefully I never will again because I will never come back to this location. Iâm not sure what caused them to completely ignore us whilst tending to the table directly across from us, we were not gross or obnoxious. We really try to be respectful while we go out, so we left quietly and the host was not present in the host stand as we left. Iâm not sure anyone noticed us leave other than the table right across from us, eyeing us...
Read moreIt had been a very long time that I had been out to a restaurant to dine in, due to a very special occasion. I was treated and it was my choice on where we went. Not new to the Olive Garden, who doesnât love their bread sticks for starters, love this type of food. So excited about going out and being with great company what could go wrong? A LOT from my friends roll up napkin dirty from the start had it replace it, breadsticks werenât that great, couple were okay the rest baked a little too long burnt on the edges. I over looked that, the drink I ordered mid way through drinking it I noticed my glass was dirty with something stuck on the inside đ¤˘! Got a replacement drink that came back wrong, had the server try it again. The dish I ordered was the spaghetti n meatballs extremely bland as if cooked by someone that worked in a school cafeteria..instead of a Olive Garden chefâŚwe placed an additional order at the start when we arrived (to go) never got that probably best as they did not need any additional money! Manager did try to make up for the error with those frozen buy one get one for 6 dollars at no charge ..as she said the kicthen was closed and they couldnât make the meal. Wish we would of just left!! Then seeing the bartender sneeze in the palm of her hand and not wash it! What? We havenât learned anything from Covid person behind the bar? Horrible experience and will never go back there! Oh my salad was okay. Better than my entree. Taco Bell or even Arbyâs up the street would have been wayyy better than my food choice this evening and sure taste 100 times better! and cheaper. This is what I will stick with when deciding to go out in the future. It will be another long while before going to dine in at a restaurant, if ever. Itâs just Safer to prepare my own meals at home like I been doing just to be reminded of this when stepping back out there...
Read moreSuper friendly, smiling, and polite staff. When I walked in I was greeted with multiple smiling employees at the front desk which was super nice and welcoming! The young woman with the iPad up front (I didn't catch her name) made sure we got a booth and got us seated in a timely manner all while being just as pleasant as could be.
Delicious food! I've been going to Olive Garden since I was a kid and I'm 27 now. This one is just as good. My only nitpick is that the big salad that has always just been brought to the table in my past visits to other Olive Gardens, had to be asked for. That may be because of a change in how the company does things, it's hard to say!
But our waitress was so sweet and the entire staff was great, so honestly, having to ask for my salad is a tiny hiccup compared to the other things that went extremely well.
When I learned one was opening in Gardens, I was so excited. This has always been a place I went with my family and now that I live far from them it's nice to still go. The quality is just as high as always.
Maybe some salt and pepper shakers on the table would be cool, too. I'm a pepper fiend! Lol. Just a thought. But yall are doing amazing for being open less...
