Literally the worst place in the entire world to eat Italian. What place keeps the shells on the shrimp in the pasta? How do you expect someone to de-shell the shrimp if its soaked in sauce? Laziness on the staff! We ordered the bruschetta bread as an app and it was a straight up hoagie bun similar to the hoagie bun I got at Walmart bakery the other day. Let alone a slice of bread fell on the table and our waitress touched our bread and put it on our plate and then stirred our "bruschetta", I'm sorry she probably meant well but as a server you never touch the guest's food. The other pasta that was ordered was straight up water with black pepper and it was supposed to be a creamy buttery sauce if you make it right. The house bread was definitely microwaved so much you couldn't even pull it a part and one side was warm the other was cold which was the tell. The manager comes by and is automatically attacking and defensive. She has to argue with us on how "this has been like this for 10 years since when we opened! People come here and eat and we're busy with Nebraska land days!" When they literally had 4 tables taken and if this is how you're running your business with the poor food, over priced plates, and yelling at the guests with 0 customer service I'm sorry but you shouldn't even be open in business anymore. All we did was tell the waitress the food was off putting and things didn't escalte until she came by. Coming from Omaha while also being Sicilian blooded as I mentioned to the manger this is not standard Italian food cuisine, I honestly have no idea what the hell this is but it's something. Fazoli's fast food chain has better food 🤣. She had to come back with "well you're in north platte and this is America!" Ok? Cool you know where we live and what city we're in. Then the manager couldn't even be an adult and give us the ticket and has some kid bring it and he's trying to force us to go back to the kitchen and then even brought out the tomato for the bruschetta. Ok? That doesn't mean anything, you could have just poured that premade tomato dish in a bucket for all I know. Not to mention why are you so defensive must be because y'all are hurting and can't own up to a problem and take criticism and have customer service and just cancel our bill and call it a night, but no we we're stuck paying the $60 for food we didn't even eat they must really need our $60 to keep the doors open 🤣. I never once seen a resturant be ran like this with how the manager yelled at us, how the food was ect. The owner(s) should call Gordon Ramsey up to help out LOL. This resturant wouldn't even last a week in Omaha with all the family owned Italian resturants that don't cut corners and actually treat their guests with respect. Good luck staying...
Read moreI brought in 9 people. Two adults and 7 kids 3-13. I do feel like they take advantage of traveller's unfortunately. We had only one of our party only take a bite or two out of his meal and send it back because he didn't like it. He was embarrassed to say anything so he finally told me at the end of our meal after I outright asked him. . We didn't want to take the time to remake it as we were all almost done. So we sent it back assuming they'd take it off the ticket(which is normally what is done at every restaurant I've been to my whole life). They refused. It's not like they'll lose customers. Lots of transients who don't know. I got a platter with Alfredo, lasagna and a breaded chicken in marinara sauce. I really liked the lasagna. The chicken tasted like cheap chicken nuggets texture. Not home made seeming. . But the red sauce was super yummy. And the home made bread- salty but light and delicious. My other son got chicken Alfredo and he loved the sauce but didn't eat the chicken saying it was too chewy. I didn't try it so I can't weigh in besides saying that kids a hoover - so I was surprised.
Overall I'd say it was delicious- but there were some real downsides.
I'm really against people taking advantage of others.
You go to a restaurant to eat delicious food. When something is gross. You'd think theyd strive to have a happy customer... And they could work on being more accommodating.
Also, the fried ravioli appetizer is tiny.. and was more crust like - bordering on overcooked. I was disappointed although the filling tasted good and of course the marinara tasted fresh and nice.

Read moreHad carry out order. Got home to realize half order was right and the other half someone elses order. I called to let them know and they wanted to fix it then not another time. Was not driving 42 miles round trip back to town. Very disappointed they never wrote it down or my name therefore a few weeks later took my daughter to eat there hoping for a free meal or discount or appetizers in the house... Nothing but a let down, then brought home left overs. I ate my daughters and while doing so discovered a metal skinny spiral sharp shaving in my mouth. Reminded me of Like a metal shaving off a lath machine at a welding shop. Glad my daughter nor I swallowed it. I still have itbi never let them know as if they were going to make anything right. I advised them that we were often customers and so were a lot of our country neighbors and family in town. Lost ALL of our business, neighbors business and the rest of the family AND all there friends we could let know. Very sad when you can't make things right for a customer just because my name or any nite of our issue was united and ofcourse I forgot to getw the name if girl/lady who I paid my carry out ordered to, whom should of made note, obviously never did or even care to. Discussed I tiped her for ...nothing but pissed off because nothing would be made right. Again. WHAT THE FUDGE IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE AND NO CARING OR RESPECT OR PROBABLY ACTUALLY EVEN HAS A REAL CLUE WHERE IM COMING FROM..... SOCIETY AND PARENTS WHO NEVER TaUGHT THERE CHILDREN..... Yeah.... U know what I'm talking...
