I dont know if this is what passes as a large fry container, maybe it is. If so, it only supports my complaint that everywhere you go they're giving you smaller portions at a higher price. I don't eat out often for this reason. However that's neither here nor there, my beef is with the fact that i pay to upsize my meal and not only is my fry only half full, there's more salt and ketchup in the fry container than there are fries. Is this a tactic to make the fries seem full or what? This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this has happened but it is the last. It has been 4 times in a row and I had hoped with the new location and a period of 5-6 months between my 3rd and 4th visit that it wouldn't be the same ol' bull$#¡+. I refuse to pay FOURTEEN dollars for a burger and fries only to be met with the same reoccurring theme of dissatisfaction. I mean, seriously, a monkey could do this job and yet i get a burger that 2 inches thick on one side and 5 inches thick on the other with more cheese on the wrapper than on the burger. I get that you guys hire teenagers but maybe train them to give a $#¡+ and have a lil pride in their work or get new ones because, although I consider your fries the absolute best, it's not worth my time, money or effort when this is consistently the end result. I doubt i will ever be back and that saddens me. The food is delicious. The execution is horrendous.
Photos included. Aside from me unwrapping the burger, this is exactly how it was in the bag. I haven't eaten a single fry. But hey, no complaints on...
Read moreAlthough a regional chain, we had never seen, heard of, or visited a Runza Restaurant until this trip through Nebraska. They specialize in what are called "bierocks" in my neck of the woods; they call them "German sandwiches." It's a doughy roll with ground beef, onion, and cabbage baked within it. Very tasty; I grew up with them (bierocks not Runzas). I also enjoyed the half-and-half fries and onion rings. The young woman at the counter was extremely pleasant and, when we mentioned we had never been to a Runza before, was very helpful describing its...
Read moreThis was my first time having Runza, and it wasn't great. I ordered a Runza sandwich with cheese, pickles and ketchup. What I received was one with cheese, pickles and onion, which pretty much ruined the sandwich. I also ordered chicken tenders with southwest ranch and honey mustard, but I didn't get the honey mustard.
For what it's worth, the chicken was decent and the sandwich would have been much better if it was...
