McCabe's Pub and Lounge — Restaurant in North Platte

Stopped here on a long road trip. Extremely clean and professional billiards bar and grill. Their sweet potato and maple Aioli app is INCREDIBLE. Tastes like French toast. For the main course we had the chimmichuri steak sandwich. Flavor was excellent and presentation for a bar and grill was top notch. Definitely surprised us for a small interstate-side Nebraska town. Bartender was punctual, professional and friendly. They really try at this establishment. Floors were spotless, bathrooms were clean and stocked. I managed a steakhouse for 6 years and was impressed by this little billiards bar. If I had to find a complaint, the steak on the sandwich could of been a bit more rare. But that's my personal preference as I like my beef very rare. We will always stop and eat here during our i80 road trips. If you're in the area absolutely stop here for a beverage and don't skip trying their sweet potato Tots with the maple Aioli. It was so good I brought a container of the sauce home with me. I'm sure if I post screenshots on how you treat people and how you would probably have a different turn out..... as a business owner i wouldn't expect you to treat anybody the way you have let alone the owner Jared gets drunk and starts yelling at the customers.... and as your bar manager likes, it sit on the computer and make facebook post all day or and goes and disappears on her shifts to appartment upstairs and still expects to be tipped out is absolutely flabbergasting...... Considering she gets paid well and get the discounted apartment above.Your guys restaurant...... Seems a little bit greedy to me and your taking hard earned cash from bartenders that actually work for it??!!! And like I told you over text message, don't be sorry about my employment. ⭐️ 1 Star I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but I feel like people should know about my experience at McCabe’s Bar & Grill in North Platte.

I went in alone for what I hoped would be a nice meal, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing bland, overcooked, and definitely not worth the price. The bigger issue, though, was the cleanliness. While I was sitting there, I saw multiple roaches crawling along the floor and wall, which made it hard to even stay long enough to finish my drink.

It was uncomfortable and honestly pretty gross. I left feeling sick to my stomach not from the food itself, but just from the whole environment. I hope they take this seriously and make some major improvements.
