This has to be the WORST experience of a sandwich shop I have ever had. My family and I went in to get sandwiches for lunch, and after being completely ignored for 20 minutes we were asked aggressively if we have already ordered as we stood in front on the same person who watched us come in the door.
(BTW his name is Dominick and he is obviously on drugs, due to his glossy eyes, slow demeanor and delayed response to any stimulus)
After placing our orders for our sandwiches, we then had to endure ANOTHER 30 minute wait while we watched about 4 other incidents occur from other patrons. Once it was our turn to communicate with this person, we ended up having to yell at each other just to get the info absorbed into his thick skull. For reference, the environmant wasn't loud enough to warrant the volumes we were speaking at. Also, at no point in time did I hear a greeting or apology from anyone as to the state of the employees' attitudes.
Once we were about to obtain our sandwiches, Dominick decided to not only forget our 3rd sandwich in the order but once he was reminded, decided to inform us AT THE END that the bread we asked for was out of stock (which is wierd because the sandwich was already assembled right in front of us)
I asked if we would be talking more sbout this issue once it was presented to me, and Dominick told me very aggressively, "No! We aren't talking about it."
So I then tried to get some info regarding your location so I could report a formal complaint, and I was given a blank paper bag and a statement to "go online and find the info." ....
The only person worth their weight there that I saw was the manager Mike. Considering the circumstances, I feel he was handling things to the best of his ability, but that Dominick kid is holding the entire franchise location back from thriving the way it should be. You guys have good food and it's a crying shame to be reporting about your staff. But the sooner Dominick leaves the sooner you will get 3 loyal customers back. I know for a fact I'm nor the only one who feels this way.
I just don't understand why any good business owner would want to have their business...
Read moreI love Jersey Mike's let that be known throughout the land. The meat 🍖 is always fresh cut, the bread 🍞 is always fresh, it blows Subway out of the water, and even newer entries like Jimmy John's can't hold a candle to JM's. But my local North Port store has management that will decrease the frequency with which I go there - that's saying a lot! This "manager" was rude beyond belief in 2 stores in the strip mall in which her store sits. I ordered a giant sub and asked kindly may "I have a salt packet" now the worker I asked went and asked his manager, an androgynous short blonde haired (think 80s bleached hair) with a mowhawk cut woman if they had any, she quickly said "We don't carry those..." That's fine if they don't, but they have little cups, and they could have put a couple shakes in one... or heck, just directly on my sandwich (which others have done before). But she was having none of it. I left with a bad taste in my mouth of the experience. So we finished eating, and this same "meal ruining" woman came into GameStop; It's only a couple of store fronts down from the sub shop. This woman, the short-haired peroxide queen hell spawn, comes barging in to start commanding employees of a store she doesn't work in (let alone manage) about where they (and their customers) need to park their cars 🚗 She raised a little hell until the GameStop manager got involved, she was "invited" into the back of Gamestop so as to not make a scene. I fled another shop, ealy because "The Manager from Jersey Mike's," entered with rudeness and reckless abdonment... and killed the vibes. This is just a warning to fellow consumers who patronize the same...
Read moreAs a chef, I make it my personal responsibility that all the food I prepare is up to par at the request of my customers. Just ordered a buffalo chicken sub with onions lettuce tomato and extra blue cheese. As I started unwrapping the sandwich all the condiments started falling out. There was so much more blue cheese than what I asked for. It was just slathered on with no real care. The condition of the chicken is what bothered me the most. The chicken was shredded. You NEVER NEVER EVER put shredded chicken on a sandwich. They were trying to imitate the look of a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Shredded chicken belongs on a quesadilla. Not to mention the chicken was dry and bland. No seasoning whatsoever. Absolutely disgraceful. My five year old daughter can make a better sandwich then these people. What a waste of time and money. NEVER...
