Burger Street — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

Usually this place is amazing. And I know going in that it's going to take a few minutes. It's much like whataburger, you order they make it, it takes time. Understand. If it takes a super long time I'm usually compensated with sauce or something. This last time I was asked to wait a moment at the order box, which isn't strange. But after ten plus minutes and multiple "hello.... is anyone there??" I waited, as a line I felt bad for formed behind me. I eventually gave up and pulled up to the window and the guy there was like... "yes?....". Yes, hello... I've been sitting at the order box for ten minutes at least after you asked me to wait... "oh... sorry... let me take these orders, its crazy today"...I placed my order... with the person inside asking me to wait to take the orders of the people behind me first! Again, usually I'd be compensated somehow for my time. This time I wasn't. I tried to do it myself by asking for sauce to be told they were out... it was just super frustrating. I should have gotten a free apple pie or something. Anything. Couldn't even get ranch. What a bummer. The other employees that are usually there would have....

Went here and went inside to order. The waiting area was smaller than a broom closet.

We ordered two double cheeseburger combos. I got fries and my wife got tots. I got a cherry limeade for my drink and my wife got root beer.

The tater tots were just ok and the fries (curly fries) were pretty good. The ranch my wife used for dipping was good, not great. The limeade was pretty standard (Sonic has better limeade), and the root beer was just fine.

The veggies on my burger were basically flavorless, but added some lightness and texture.

The reason this gets five stars is because despite everything else, our burgers were fantastic. The portions are pretty large, the taste was great, and the patty was so juicy, and biting into it your teeth just go right through it as though it weren't really there (which sounds weird, I know, but it was really good.)

Now I got to say Burger Street has good hamburgers in fact probably the best hamburgers I've ever had in my life but unfortunately they're really understaffed all the time and they work in that little small box of a place so the line sometimes is outrageous I mean we waited probably 45 minutes to an hour wasting gas money as much as we paid in the food and you know I kind of hate the fact that change their fries because the fries they used to have the like more white looking curly fries those tasted amazing and they were actually competing against Wingstop's fries for my personal opinion of the best fries ever but unfortunately they pretty much ripped off Arby's fries now and they taste just like those and yeah you know you have to be in the mood for those but anyway long story short it's a good place give it a try but be prepared to wait forever and customer service is Hit or...
