I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your establishment just now. Despite my efforts, I was unable to place an order and felt completely ignored.
And I’m stillll here!!!!!!
After waiting at the bar for a prolonged period of 30 minutes, I even made direct eye contact with one of your staff members and kindly asked if I could place an order. However, to my astonishment, I received no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. I observed other patrons effortlessly being attended to by your employees, while I remained neglected.
Regrettably, I cannot help but contemplate if this ordeal was a result of racial discrimination. As the only black individual attempting to place an order, it became increasingly evident that I was being treated differently. The feeling of being excluded and overlooked left me utterly disheartened. It is deeply disconcerting to consider that such discriminatory behavior might have taken place at your establishment.
Had it not been for a friend's birthday celebration, I would not hesitate to advise others, particularly black patrons, against visiting your establishment. As a customer, I believe everyone should receive equal treatment and respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
I sincerely hope that you address this issue promptly and take appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future. I trust that you value diversity and inclusion, and that you will thoroughly investigate this matter. It is my hope that you will make the necessary changes to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing what actions will be taken to rectify this situation.
This must be what Rosa park felt...

We started as a small group near the bar on separate tabs and they forced us to a large table to put us on one tab with auto 18% without telling us.
I asked our server prior to ordering about splitting bills and he said we can figure it out at the end.
One person in our party still had an open tab at the bar and decided to request to close it, which resulted in the manager greeting the table with the entire tab dropped before anything came out.
We ordered around 7 and got the food over an hour and a half later, even though I requested to close the tab for drinks and leave and was told "OK" but then told 5-10 min later it's on the way out.
They then proceeded to try and drop food orders.
Some of us accepted our orders and it was hit and miss.
The elote was mis-explained and undercooked.
There was not enough pita to dip.
The fries or poutine are your best bet.
The beers were good and reasonably priced.
This may have been a one off due to being overwhelmed by an entire group but there were too many inconsistencies to provide a solid rating. There was not enough clarity, remorse or ownership in regards.
Will complete review in full upon check...
*EDIT: our party was assumed to have scratched vandalized a table, but they leveled the checks in the end and split them for what people actually received.
Overall, decent food, good beer, reasonable prices and servers, but still a lack of communication and ownership of the situation.
*NOTE: There is a...
Read moreLets start with the positive aspects of this place. Great building and design. Love the open floor plan with great visibility into the brewhouse itself as well as the large garage doors they can open to turn the whole place into a patio. One of the coolest things of any brewery is being able to see the brewers making the beer. That being said, lets talk about the reason for the two star review...The beer. It isn't swill but it isn't great, either. Lacking in flavor, aroma and appearance. Also, I have never been to a brewery before that didn't offer at least a taste for free. I have to spend two bucks just to see what I might like to drink. I don't need a 4 oz sample either. Squirt a little 1/4 inch of beer in a glass so i can coat my tongue and make a decision. I may have also rated this place another star had our bartender been able to describe any of the 4 beers they had on tap. I asked several questions pertaining to the flavor profiles of their beers and the girl serving us gave me very generic descriptions which she then followed with, "you can try it for $1.50". I know its only six quarters to try a damn beer but craft beer is already expensive enough without having to pay for taste samples. I'm sure I will return to this brewery since my fiance seems to like it but I will probably be keeping my beer allowance in my pocket until we make our way over to 18th...
