I moved to this area at the beginning of 2023. Aside from my regular job I also do Doordash. As a regular customer I have nothing bad to say because my son loves the nuggets, fries and Sunjoy. I used to come here a few times a month as a customer and almost on a daily basis as a Dasher. A few months back in Spring of 2024 they got a new Owner - Operator and they changed some processes which required the employees to ask Dashers to "confirm" they received the order. This process is fine because it cuts down on Dashers who steal orders. However I noticed they wouldn't ask some Dashers to "confirm" but then they'd ask me. I did not want to make things about race so I let it go for a while until on one occasion an employees tried touching "confirm" themselves and on another occasion being told they would not give me the food unless I pressed "confirm". Also the tone used when speaking to me was not the same tone afforded to their regular customers and also not the way they would talk to me when I was a regular customer. One of the last times I was at this location dashing, one of the managers very rudely demanded I press confirm or she would not give me the food. I told her not to speak to me like that and the new owner began yelling at me to not speak to his employees this way, but said nothing of her actions. The owner said all Dashers get the same treatment and will be asked to "confirm" evertime. I delivered the order and received another order for this location and they did not ask me to "confirm". I told the owner of this and he demanded I tell him which one of his employees it was.....I'm not a snitch 😶. Shortly after this I was black listed from Dashing here, so now I no longer come to this location as a regular customer either. I called corporate and they gave me a free dessert, I guess that's all my trouble is worth. Corporate also advised they'd let the owner know about my complaint, I never received a call. More things happened but I have only provided the necessary info. For this to be a company that does not deny their faith and proudly waved their Jesus flag, they don't...
Read moreBEWARE!!!! Chick-fil-A has now implemented the "one size fits all" thing! Let me explain myself. I went to chick-fil-a today to get a milkshake. As I arrived to the speaker I asked the person taking the order; can I have a small shake? He said yes we can make you a small shake. I usually get a large size but today I decided to get a small and noticed that I was being charged the same amount as a large, I asked the person at the window: is this a small? and he responded yes I know! At no point I was informed or notified that now chick-fil-a charges for a large but only gives clients a small. I called the restaurant after checking on the app, on the app it says large shake is $4.54 w tax. I spoke to a team member and he said that the change was at this location only and that they only have a small size now for the price of a large. I was then transferred to the manager and according to the manager this is a new change and they are implementing it at all locations. So, in a very short period of time I got different versions of this and at no point they apologized for ripping me off! Listen, I'm not upset that they needed to raise the prices. I'm frustrated that they were not apologetic and made it sound like they had different sizes and it was okay for them to charge for a large when in reality clients are now getting a small. After this pandemic the need to raise cost is understandable but inform your customers or you are going to lose business!. Do better chick-fil-a! OK my rant is over!. Now, is this change going to apply to fountain...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Chick-fil-A for many years and have visited locations all over the country. Customer service has always been top notch until now. Unfortunately, this was the first time I’ve experienced truly poor service at one of your restaurants.
During my visit yesterday evening, the drive-thru staff specifically Brody and a shorter girl with blondish hair seemed overwhelmed and unprepared. I had a coupon for a free ice cream, and when I reached the window, I was told the machine was producing a liquid custard. I asked if the coupon could be saved for a future visit instead, but was met with attitude and told that it had already been used and I had to take the ice cream.
What I received was a kids cup with a small squirt of soupy ice cream and a cone laid on top barely enough to fill even a fifth of a cone. It felt like a complete waste of time. The right thing to do would have been to say, “We’ll save your coupon come back when the machine is working properly.” Instead, I was treated as if I was being unreasonable for even asking.
The young woman’s demeanor came off as snobby, and Brody didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation. This is not the standard I’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A, and I won’t be returning to this location. If you’re looking for great service, I highly recommend the Skokie location instead they uphold the brand’s...
