Unpleasant servers + questionable mayonnaise (on one visit): I've been to many Jimmy John's -- nearly always ordering the same thing: #6 (cheese and avocado) on thickly sliced wheat. Most have consistently good food and pleasant service. This location - which I have been to 3 times - is well below average. The first two times, the servers seemed indifferent - to the point of almost being rude. The 3rd time though (which has and will be my last) was clearly the worst: After getting my sandwich, I noticed the mayonnaise didn't seem to taste right. I went back and asked if they could check the mayonnaise. They person behind the counter said "we open it fresh every day", then turned his back and walked away. I said "could you at least check/smell it". He responds .. without checking anything, "it is fine", and turns his back on me again.. After eating a bit more of the sandwich, and being convinced it was "not my imagination", I asked again - told them I was not trying to get my money back - but I was concerned there may be an issue, the person just looked briefly at me, and turned away again. I went to the Jimmy John's corporate website and filed a complaint (CAS-847196-V3J8C4). I received the response "All the feedback you provided was escalated to the franchise owner of the location and their appropriate team members to address and resolve". Read moreI had a very bad experience here yesterday. We had a group event and ordered individually using the group order link sent by them. Turns out mine and several others did not get their sandwiches during our event. When I went to pickup mine, the lady at the counter (owner?) was very upset (visibly). She decided to make me a sandwich but didn’t even let me look at the menu and choose what I wanted..and rushed me in the ordering process. There was no on waiting in the queue and she made me feel like I was there for a free sandwich. Very insulting customer experience. I gave up and just took what was offered. It was horrible experience I just wanted to walk out but unfortunately I prepaid through their site. I originally asked for whole wheat bread but ended up with regular bread and cheese I hate. I didn’t know what toppings to choose (only if they patiently listened and gave me time). I will never go here again. I feel bad for employees who work there. The whole “dealing with owner” experience was bad. Very unprofessional to keep a long face for a mistake that is technical in nature that I have no control over. Read moreNever ordering food from this store again. I placed an order for delivery and it arrived after my lunch break was over. I called the store to check on my order, the person on the phone was very rude and mean he said that it’s not his problem and that the delivery person will bring it when he can. He was cursing at me and using very unprofessional language. The person didn’t show any respect when talking to me and I wonder if he does this to all of his costumers. This is very bad behavior he doesn’t seem to know how to talk to his customers. I personally feel that was unacceptable behavior and he should be fired for his attitude and actions. He shouldn’t work there if he can’t handle the stress. He should join anger management classes to control himself and learn how to show respect to others.
