From the moment the food hit the table, it was clear this place takes its flavors seriously. The Jajangmyeon was outstanding, with a rich and savory black bean sauce over perfectly chewy noodles, with a depth of flavor that really stood out. It’s the kind of dish that hits all the right notes and leaves you wanting more.
The Tangsuyuk was equally impressive. The pork was light and crispy on the outside while staying tender on the inside, and the sweet and sour sauce had just the right balance without being too heavy or overly sweet. Easily one of the best versions I’ve had in the area.
The portions were very generous, making it great for sharing or taking home leftovers. Service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh even though the restaurant was fairly busy. The atmosphere is casual and clean, perfect for a quick bite or a dinner with friends or family.
Overall, everything exceeded expectations. The food was bold, comforting, and full of flavor, and it’s clear they focus on delivering a quality experience. This spot is definitely going into the regular rotation. Highly...
Read moreFor All Service Dog Owners Love the food here but very disappointed with the professionalism and service here. A couple weeks ago I come in to the restaurant to dine in with me and my family, along with my service dog. The moment we come in the manager and employees came up said that there are no dogs allowed. I explained that she was a service dog and showed them her ID. They said they don't allow dogs since the fur will go everywhere and that other customers will not enjoy their experience. We offered to just have her in her cart/stroller (that has a cover) and they said that wouldn't work either. FYI I even showed them the guidelines for service dogs, where they are allowed, and the purpose of them being there. They still said no. This experience was genuinely very frustrating and disappointing, but not too surprised from an unprofessional business like this. For all my fellow service dog owners, be aware of this and know they are not welcoming or willing to accommodate to us and the services we need so just go dine in at Bonchon or...
Read moreI ordered the shrimp fry rice and I was way overcooked. Very few shrimps also. I am lowering the rating of Paik’s Noodles because now the restaurant charges for the containers to take the leftovers. Which will be ok if they were reusable or compostable containers. They are cheap and leaking containers that got my clothes and my car full of sauce—a Terrible decision from the owners.
I took an Asian customer to this restaurant and decided to have lunch. I ordered the shrimp chili Seau and they were outstanding. Great flavor and consistency. The place was clean and the service prompt. The four-star is because I asked the waitress for a soft drink and she gave me an alcoholic drink fruit soju which I could not read the label. Not only that I did not want alcohol but this small bottle cost a Whooping $12.99! It is important to speak English in an English-speaking country or find someone that can verify the I formation. I do recommend this place not...
