Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Northfield Township

I drive by here all the time and decided to try something different from my usual Northbrook favorites. The service was good - friendly and prompt. However, the thin crust pizza was disappointing. The crust is functional as a platform for the cheese and toppings but has almost no flavor. The sauce was also rather bland. Speaking of toppings, when the members of your party ask if you ordered toppings because they can't taste them, they all look carefully at their pieces for visible evidence and someone says "I think I found a small piece of mushroom!", the toppings are too sparse for the asking price.

Update: Day+1 I gave Rosati's an additional star because it's one of those rare pizzas that tastes better...

Ordered a pizza with bacon. Bacon was pink and gooey. Like most of the bacon because I know parts of bacon aren't always crispy. I thought they added onions it was so weird looking. Called to complain and explained I am also pregnant and got in a very monotone voice "I'm sorry you didn't like our bacon and our pizza" and tried to tell us it was precooked. Have ordered from there many times and never had bacon like that before. Got our refund through Grubhub but now this 37 week pregnant lady just ate some gooey pink uncooked bacon and no dinner. The guy we spoke to sounded like a major douche. Will not be ordering...

The staff tonight was amazing! From placing the order on the phone, to picking up the food, the customer service was top notch.

When I arrived to pick up the food, it was running late. They apologized and shared how long it would take. Twice, they updated me so I know when it would be done. In all, it was 12 minutes late. I didn’t think that was such a big deal on a busy Friday night. When they handed me the food, they also gave us 6 sodas due to the extended wait.
