Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Northfield Township

If I could give this place no stars I would. I don't ever write reviews but honestly people need to know how this location treats their customers. Our family orders from this glenview location every time, and the last 4 times they have messed my order up. After this last time my My husband called, because he said we pay over $80 for their pizzas and every single time they’re is something wrong or missing from our order. we ordered a bbq pizza and it came with red sauce this time . When my husband spoke to the manager he apologized, and said they were extremely busy, so they wouldn’t be able to bring a new correct pizza out to us that night. He said they would put a credit on our account for next time though. We just called in to redeem our credit and the manager said he didn’t remember us, and that there was no credit on file. After 5 minutes of arguing with him, he said they could give us a discount on this order to make it right. Then he said, actually your home address is too far from us, and it will take over an hour to deliver so we needed to just order from a different location instead. Have gone to this location for many years and so has my mother, may she rest in peace. Ordered from them weeks ago, pizza,pasta. Finally received my order, and the food was not even hot! Called the restaurant and spoke to the same Hispanic gentleman, always nice, but sometimes never accommodating. I let him know my concerns, he claims everything was hot when it left the restaurant. He kept arguing the point, till finally I said what can you do to make me happy. He couldn't give credit on the whole order, but he would give credit for the pizza. I said fine. I called a week later, to get the credit, and it was the same gentleman. He said no, I don't have a credit for you, and he then said are you sure it's the right location. I said yes, I talked to him about it. He was arguing with me, and lied about the whole thing. I was so upset and frustrated. I then contacted my rosati's pizza and filed a complaint against the restaurant. I still haven't heard from the owner. Today, I just called my rosati's, and the owner still hasn't responded. Absolutely Disgusted with Rosati's of Glenview – Horrible Customer Service

We had a terrible experience with Rosati’s of Glenview and will never be ordering from them again. We ordered a plain cheese deepdish pizza—simple, right? Instead, we received a pizza with sausage on it. This isn’t just a careless mistake—it’s unacceptable, especially because we're vegetarians. Eating meat is something we actively avoid for personal, ethical, and health reasons.

When we called to let them know about the error, we were hoping for a quick apology and some accountability. Instead, we were met with rudeness and accusations. The person on the phone basically called us liars, insisting we were making it up—despite us literally holding the pizza and pointing at the sausage. We even offered to show them proof.

The complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic customer service is beyond frustrating. Mistakes happen—but doubling down and blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility? That’s what made this experience absolutely infuriating.
