Bob's Seafood Market of Northfield — Restaurant in Northfield

oday was the final time I will be going back to Bobs. I am completely done with being treated with such rudeness and being laughed at. I have alway dealt with the rudeness and sarcasm for years. I drive 40 minutes to go there and get seafood because they have a nice selection, However, the selection is not worth being treated the way they treat people.

Today I walked in to pick up a to go order (after walking in for one second) mind you it is 12 degrees outside so when I walked in I needed a second to catch my breath. The employee on the other side shouted out and said are you picking up, I said yes. He yelled and said WELL COME OVER HERE, COME ON, WE ARE BUSY! Now he asked what is the order under, I gave him my name and he said does your phone number begin with 609 area code asking being very sarcastic and degrading. Now the guy behind him thought that was the funniest thing he could of asked and looked me straight in the face and started laughing. Made me feel so uncomfortable. So I took my pre-paid order and left. When I got home I looked up the amount of money I gave this business over the past year ( 11 months and 3 weeks) I spend $3,850 in one year at this place. That might not be much to some people but it is ti me. I will not be back, I would rather give my money to a company that treats their customers with courtesy...

I wanted to give 4.75 stars, but that isn't possible. First, I got 2 dozen #1 blue claws, 50 topnecks, and 2 lbs of large shrimp. Everything was fresh and my guests loved the food (I can cook seafood... But I don't eat it). Second, this Bob's location had the best prices in the area. I did some research and the other places wanted between $23 and $25 for #2 blue claws (smaller crabs), but this place had the #1s for that price. Last, the staff were friendly and patient with me. Like I said, I don't eat seafood food so I had to ask a lot of questions to ensure I was buying the right stuff. My only piece of critical feedback is that the shrimp could have been cleaned a little better. But I will gladly do business...

One of the best places to buy your fish whether its whole fish or fillets shrimp crabs lobsters clams what have you and they also do cooked orders to go and its honestly the best fish u can have. Ive ate at crab trap and other ritzy seafood restaurants and bobs wins hands down. Tell them Ron sent u I used to work there and I ate there everyday and though I'm no longer employed there I still love them and order almost every week. Nothing like gettibg ur dad fathers day seafood or mom for mothers days or a shrimp and lobster tray for Christmas or blue crabs snow crabs or king for anytime. They are family owned and operated and a great asset to the south jersey area people come from all over the tri state...
