I'm drawn here because their baked items are made fresh each day and - handcrafted breads and pastries without preservatives. That’s remarkable in today’s world. You can pick up day-old baked items at reduced prices; but I prefer to go early and buy what’s fresh out of the oven. Nothing tastes as good as that.
It’s nice for lunches, too. The Café Selection, especially sandwiches, use the bread they make and fill them with tasty combinations. It’s an ideal spot to take your children, catch up with friends, or as I do, host a business coffee, and/or often get something to go. Check out the community table – it really shows great support and loyalty to local residents.
The pastry section, since I am such a scone connoisseur, is my favorite. There is no missing the “just-baked” flavor that makes them worth the calories. Every time I’m there I see people buying their caramel nut rolls – only my mom’s recipe beats them 😊.
There are made with lots of butter and are chucked full of caramel. While you can purchase them with & without nuts, we prefer the nut version. It’s also very nice that these and many other items re for sale and in both mini and large sizes.
The staff are vey friendly, this is something that I find is more common in small towns. I enjoy the chat about menu options, how the food is made, the baking schedule, and why they are so proud of their coffee. Check out this video where I’m filming, and the bakers are so pleasant and waving so friendly.

Read moreI always have such a great experience when I come to the brick oven. So does my mom. But I recently swing by on my way into town. AND let me tell you, I was greeted with smiles and "how are yous" as soon as I walked in. It really set the tone for a great experience. Now let's talk about their bread. Oh my goodness, it is hands down the best fresh tasting bread I have ever had. It blows store bought bread out of the water (for obvious reasons). The crust is perfectly crispy and the inside is soft and fluffy. I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting, it's that good. And don't even get me started on their desserts. They have so many different options to choose from, it's hard to pick just one. From cookies to pastries to caramel rolls, everything looks and tastes amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Brick Oven Bakery for anyone looking for delicious, fresh baked goods. You won't be disappointed! I also really admire the fact that it is wheel chair accessible, so yes it's also disability friendly as well. Nobody judges you. So yes! Any age, race, disability or no disability can certainly get inside the building no problem! So nobody has to miss out on not being able to physically go inside the store! They're a few chairs and umbrellas for sitting outdoors. But it's mainly just indoor seating, which still isn't a problem! With the atmosphere being the way it is, the staff being very kind and friendly. The amazing different smells you take in when you first go inside. Is overwhelming but good! I'm definitely going to come back more often because of the consistent friendliness of...
Read moreWas difficult to find the entrance here. Enter from the parking lot and you'll find a door in the middle of the building. Smell of fresh baked goods here is AMAZING! Seemed to be a pretty good lunch crowd and was impressed with the the menu. Not your ordinary bakery here folks. Large variety of freshly baked breads. Some of which I'd never even heard of. Did get a delicious baguette that was wonderfully crunchy on the outside with a soft, delicious interior. One of the best baguettes we've ever eaten! Will definitely return for croissants and quiche! Little spendier than we would have thought however, the quality is...
