I order Tamales two days before picking up, the lady that took my order said it would be 14.95 for 12, I live in Owatonna and drove the 34 miles just for that, when I got there and announce my self the man told me that they didnāt have any, I told repeatedly I had order them and I was told theyāll be here, he started arguing with me and I told him that I came from Owatonna just for that, I said if thatās the case the lady that took my order should had told me that, so in order not for me to argue I order burritos of carne asada . I told him one with just meat, and the cook said she wouldnāt make it, that I would have to order a carne asada plate, bunch of bs, burritos had plenty of rice, lettuce, beans but hardly any meat, for 8.00 each is a crime. To top it off when I got up to leave we didnāt even get a thank you from them. This place have to get better courteous people and not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDisclaimer: I'm from Chicago, we have over a dozen outstanding Mexican restaurants.
The good: large portions, surprisingly good (not great) taste, decent prices.
The bad: ordered 5 tacos and this took nearly half an hour, placed a second order (to go, for the next day's lunch) right when the tacos came out for a burrito and quesadilla, that came out within 5 minutes! Not sure what took so long on the tacos, perhaps it was the side of rice and they had to wait on a fresh batch.

All-in-all, this is nothing special, but will suffice for Mexican...

I always get two tacosāone chorizo, one steakāand every time, they blow me away. Whatever that green sauce is⦠I donāt know whatās in it, but itās creamy, itās perfect, and I want to put it on everything. And every visit, I grab a Jarritos Tamarind sodaāthe only soda I ever drink. Itās my little treat because I donāt drink soda at home, but in a Mexican joint like this, it just feels right.
The best part? The people. Every single time, Iām greeted with a big smile, and everyone in the restaurant looks genuinely happy with what theyāre eating. Itās got that welcoming, homey feel that makes you want to keep coming back. And trust meāI have, many, many times.
A happy...
