Unauthorized tip charge
This was our second time ordering from this restaurant and will never order from here again. The first time we ordered from here it took an hour and half for the food to come, the day I noticed they had charged my credit card an additional $6 for a tip that I never indicated on my receipt when I signed it. At first I thought it was simply a mistake spoke with them about it and they corrected it. I ordered again last night 11/8/2013 of which they delivered, went to look at my online banking for the charge and AGAIN they added an additional $7 to my credit card. I called and spoke with the delivery driver and the lady at the restaurant and all they kept saying was that I added this which is a complete lie! I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT GIVE MY BUSINESS TO THIS LOCAL UNETHICAL BUSINESS WHEN THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Highly dangerous for those with an allergy. Shellfish was served on top of the other starters, so I was unable to partake. Food was served on styrofoam plates and the spork couldn't cut through or stab anything to eat. Server kept Sking if we were done, and it was 6:30, so nowhere near closing time for the rudeness to be understood. I am a huge fan of places like these usually, but my friends told me to share my experience to others so they don't waste their money. Family of four cost $110. We ordered two entrees that come with soup and and an appetizer, four cans of soda, and an order of Chinese donuts. If this explains the cost variance a bit. My family and I have been enjoying Tasty Garden regularly for, gosh, going on 10, maybe more years. I love their Pad Thai! It is always hot, fresh, consistently delicious...and they are SO nice! We have never had an issue with their delivery service...even when we lived in a really difficult apartment to locate, they were the only restaurant that could find us without having to call mid-search! My kids always eat their ENTIRE meals, and our vegan family members are able to order without issue as well! Awesome place!!!
