I got Two Smothered Deluxe Burritos to-go, got to the park we were going to a few miles away, then find out there is "No Plastic Wear 'Or' Napkins" -! ... I get Back in my car, drive back, I Explained what just happened, ... No Apologies, nothing! Just an "oh". ... I get back to the park, open up our Smothered Burritos, there are "No Tomatoes" -!!! ... I Called the store, asked "Shouldn't my Smothered Burritos have Tomatoes?" ... She says "Yes, but, we're out of tomatoes right now. ". ... "Then 'Why' didn't you say that when I Ordered? " ( I don't think they were out, they just didn't 'Feel Like' prepping any). ... I Originally asked for "Stuffed Sopapia's" ... "Oh, we don't make those here". ... ( is this True? ) ... I see now just Why this particular Santiago's has a "2" rating. ... I'll bet they don't have to many Repeat Customers, just the ones that get Duped into their First visit. ... Read moreI no longer go to this location for breakfast burritos. Their quality is terrible and they make a lot of the burritos in advance and put them under a warmer. By the time you take them home or to work the tortilla is soggy and gross. Also, they skimp out on the amount of food they put in each burrito in the morning. The location on 104th just west of Huron is WAY better in the morning and very fast. Since they became just Santiagos years back (it used to be a coffee house and Santiagos) the people that work there have gone downhill. I used to get coffee every morning and a burrito at least once a week. They knew me by name, and were exceptionally friendly. Once Santiagos completely took over all the previous staff was gone. Every blue moon you get lucky with someone with a smile, but typically I feel like I am inconveniencing them by stopping by. Regular menu is not bad as long as you are not stuck in the drive through as others have complained about the wait as well. Read moreI placed an order at the drive through and ordered cheese on my smothered burritos and was charged for it and when I got home, there was no cheese on my burritos. I called and was kept on hold for 12 minutes and when the girl got back on the phone she asked me for my ticket # so I gave it to her and after another 5 minutes she said she couldn't find the ticket. I said she needed to refund me for the cheese I was charged for and she said for me to drive back and they will put cheese on my burritos. I explained to her that I live over 5 miles away and that was unacceptable and she said that is all that they'd be willing to do. I asked if they could just refund me for the cheese that they'd charged me for and she said she would not refund me. Worse service I've ever dealt with.
