Probably the worst dining experience i have had in some time. Upon entrance the food counter employee was leaning on the counter with both hands on her face with her cheeks propped up "what can i get for you?"
Me - "Never been here I am gonna look at the menu. You think wings or burger are better?"
"Ehh both are okay"
Me - "okay, well ill get a burger and fries."
"Well its cheaper to get a combo"
Me - "okay, well I dont really want soda, was gonna get a beer"
"Well its cheaper, just take the cup"
After forced to get something i didnt want. I paid, asked to tip for counter service lol then I went to the bar and 1st question was "do you actually want a beer or you just sitting here?"
Me - "well i was gonna get a beer if thats okay?"
"What do you want?"
I get a modelo. No limes. Asked for lime and she comes back with 2 wilted brown limes 🤷♂️ .......... Mind you NO ONE IS HERE! Im the only customer beyond a guy and a child at the bar. The three of them - bartender, guy, and child all watching something different on their phones on loud. After listening to some annoying game one of them was playing for 10 minutes I moved myself.
Finally get my food - it's ice cold. Frozen patty, frozen fries somehow overcooked but cold?
Never asked any follow up - how is everything? Would you like another beer? Just nothing.
Thought I might have discovered a hidden gem but it was just a trash experience. I get why I was the only person in this establishment. Ownership should be embarrassed. Management should be fired. Employees should be looking for new work.
If you’re looking to sit at a bar with children and pay for an overpriced cold meal definitely check this...
Read moreAwww geeze! We absolutely love this place. Definitely a family favorite.
Special occasion? Wing Cave! Having a bad day? Wing Cave!
Due to the high calories in most of the menu, Wing Cave is not a weekly stop but it is definitely our favorite. Just to be clear, we don't go to any other wing places. In our opinion they are mediocre at best. Not worth it. Wing Cave was absolutely our go-to place. Unfortunately, the last time we were there our bill was over $50! I know times are tough and there are shortages but geeze, this is a little pricey for lunch for two people. No, this is a LOT pricey for lunch or two people. Now granted we got the 12-piece so we'd have leftovers, so honestly it was more than one meal but $50 is an awful lot.
We will continue to go to Wing Cave but probably twice a year, only on special occasions. It won't be replaced with another wing place so it's not like you're losing business to Wingstop or some place like that.
I guess I'm just sad, another pandemic loss. So many things have changed during the the last 18 months, so many places have taken hits and this is one of them. The "hit" at Wing Cave being (don't know the exact amount but maybe) a 15-20% inrease. It's still a great place, the food is wonderful but it's no longer the kind of place where one can stop on a random Tuesday. Now, because of the price, one has to consider the family budget! Kind of like you would a fine dining establishment. I don't think this is what you guys are looking at as your model. Oh well... 'nuf...
Read moreDON'T EAT HERE. OUR ORDER TOOK 1 HR AND 20 MINUTES FOR COLD WINGS AND CASHIER WAS VERY RUDE. A year ago I left them 5 stars, today they earned 0 stars. Today is my wife and I's 4 year wedding anniversary and 19 year anniversary of being together. We used to love their wings so much that we wanted to have them for our anniversary dinner tonight. They failed miserably. We ordered 50 wings TO GO and were told it would take 25 minutes, and then ended up taking 1 hour and 20 minutes for 50 wings, that's strike 1. I literally watched not 1 not 2 not even just 3 but 8 different groups of people that ordered after us get their food before ours. Idc how busy you are, that cashier knew it was going to take that long and he just told me that to make the sale. Then! they brought our order out to dine in after I clearly told him to go. Strike 2. Then they take another 15 minutes to wrap the food up, that was strike 3. I have 4 children that were waiting in the car with my wife, all extremely hungry and cranky. I work 12 hour shifts and definitely would not of went through with the order had the cashier been honest. Can't believe we waited that long for cold wings. You lost a loyal customer tonight. Our original post below from over a year ago.
Hands down the best wings I've ever had. They fully cook their wings and the garlic parmesan is really great. The Colorado gold too. Never have had a bad experience when...
