K Indian Grocery — Local services in Northglenn

A small but broad range of products. More than 80% of the items do not have prices on them, so it's difficult to actually shop around here, unless you're willing to do it blindly.

I asked the shopkeeper yesterday why they don't label prices to enable comparison, and he said it's because it's "too difficult to keep up with weekly inventory changes." As a small business owner, I understand the challenges of small businesses...but inventory and pricing are two of the primary functions of a grocery store, so that's not an acceptable answer.

It is dishonest to not provide price transparency between brands, especially when the SKUs and product categories do not change that frequently in a specialty grocery. I expect better, and would return if the prices are clearly labeled for...

I have visited this store multiple times and they conveniently do not label prices for items they sell and they always make excuses why they don’t. It is illegal to not put prices on items on the shelves. This gives customers inability to compare prices to make an informed decision. Last time I visited was on August when they said they just got the items and didnt have time to label prices on them. Now it is october and it’s the same. Friendly Nepalese owner, decent selction and when I reviewed, prices weren't bad compared to other stores in the area. The best part was K mentioning not to buy a vegetable because it wasn't as fresh! However, the absence of price tags is a problem for me as you are in suspense until you're at POS. I'd much rather do the mental math while shopping :)

Also, check out the expiration dates on products. Good people, but they sometimes let expired items sit on shelves. I have returned a couple...
