Paleteria La Loteria — Restaurant in Northglenn

The food is good but not the customer service. We went today 04/23/23 at around 9pm. My friend, my sister and I and we were waiting to get help. The lady that was helping seem like she did not want to help us because she went straight to the people behind us but then her co worker told her we were next. We ask for two ice cream cones with two different flavors of ice cream and she got upset because we asked for different flavors. I then order a an elote en vaso and after that we went straight to the line to pay the cashier. Once paying I told the very nice man that it was an elote and an ice cream cone because my friend was paying hers separate. And all of a sudden the lady from the other side of the store screamed at the cashier that it was two cones. I didn’t say anything and just payed everything, even added a tip (not for her service but for the nice cashier), together because he added it to my tab and my friend just sent me her part. When I say I have been to manyyyyy places like this that tend to serve the same thing or same "ideas" you wouldn't even believe me. La loteria is one of the cleanest, best tasting, wonderful places around. I am so used to having noses turned up at me and rude attitudes because I can't "fully" read the menu but these ladies were absolutely amazing! They were laughing and joking with us and we had such an amazing first time here. I would recommend this place to just about anyone looking for a sweet or salty hispanic treat! 😍 Thank you for the best tasting elotes, carne seca, and manzanas wrapped in chamoy and tajin ever ! Just wanted to let you no, i came in to grab some ice cream for the family, while i was waiting to be Served I notice that the lady that was helping us did not wash her hands not at least once in between customers or Was not wearing a mask or Gloves when she was serving or sanitized her hands, she Took money and she took cards and not ones did she Sanitize in between, I think this is the biggest problem that is going on right now is that in between this pandemic that’s going on the Expectation-is for businesses to at least comply by keeping your customers safe and I will not ever be back there.
