This is a review by Jessica Acosta, Ramon's wife. I ordered his birthday cake from here on line and paid in advance. I tried to call 5 times the day I was to pick up the cake because we had and issue here a couple years ago with my cake being at another location... No one answered. So I went to get the cake. Pick up time was 4:30 PM. I showed up at 4:40 pm. The girl was very sweet but she disappeared into the back and after about 10 minutes I could tell something was up. She came out to check the display in the front saying that her manager had told her that the cake was there from the morning. She couldn't find it. Then she went to check in back again and came out and told me that her boss would be there shortly and he would find it. So I took a seat cause otherwise I would just be standing there. The manager came in. Checked every fridge. Told me multiple times that he was sure he picked it up at 10:00 AM and he was calling his morning staff and no one knew where it went. He then asked me if I wanted a cookie cake or something in their freezer. I was like do you have this type of ice cream with this type of cake, cause that what I ordered. He said no, that's a custom cake... OH, like the one I ordered? Then he asked me what I would want. I was so mad. Ummm my money back for starters. He gave me my money back and then I left. I had no cake for my husband on his birthday. And the manager had no suggestion or anything to even help me out. Management 101, you always make a suggestion to solve the issue and you always try to help the customer out when you have made a mistake. I don't know what I expected at that point but I did expect more then a "whoops, sorry." It was 5:00 PM, where do I find a cake at that point? I am extremely disappointed. Read moreWent thru the drive thru on a Friday night looking for some ice cream / shake. After a couple of back and forth, we ordered something that she claimed was available. We got to the window, she charged us first and then came back 10 mins later saying she doesn't have it in the stock. We requested a refund to which we were told she didn't know how to process it. Took my phone and name and said someone would call me the next day to do the reversal. Nobody called and when I call their number, just goes to voice mail. I asked if they had caramel and she said they were out of that too….she ended up putting chocolate syrup, which really isn’t the same. I get that stuff happens, but how does an ice cream shop run out of those key ingredients? And the way she handled it could have been better.
