I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I experienced yesterday, March 1st, 2025, regarding the advertised hours of operation and an online order I placed through ChowNow. I placed my order at 1:51 PM for a scheduled pickup at 9:15 PM after working a long shift and breaking my fast in observing Ramadan. When I arrived at the restaurant to pickup my order, I found the doors locked, at 9:10pm and the owner informed me through the door that the restaurant was closed. Despite the freezing weather, I explained that I had placed my order earlier and showed proof of my order. Unfortunately, I was told again that the restaurant was closed and that my order had not been received. As a regular customer who lives just minutes away, I have always supported your business and spoken highly of your pizza. However, this experience has left me deeply disappointed. It is disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for a loyal customer, especially when the posted hours were not adhered to. Moving forward, I find it difficult to continue supporting the business when such situations occur. I hope this feedback helps in improving communication regarding hours of operation and ensuring that online orders are properly managed to prevent similar issues for...

If you haven’t been to Corteza Pizza (formerly Crust Pizza Company), do yourself a favor and go immediately. This place is a hidden gem that delivers the kind of pizza that haunts your cravings in the best way possible.

We tried the Grandma pizza, and it disappeared so fast I didn’t even get a photo. That should tell you everything. The dough is perfectly light and airy, but the edges that hit the pan get this unreal crispy, golden crunch, almost buttery, like it’s been kissed by a cast iron skillet. It’s the kind of texture and flavor that keeps you coming back.

The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors are dialed in, and whether you're picking up or dining in, the service is fast, friendly, and just feels good. The team here genuinely cares, and it shows. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and upbeat, which just adds to the experience.

If you're in the mood for incredible pizza in a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, Corteza is where it's at. Whether you’re a pizza purist or looking for something fresh and craveable, you won’t regret stopping by.

If you are in the norwalk area, seriously go...

What a feast!

We were immediately greeted by the co-owners upon entry. The co-owners make all dishes themselves; this is not your typical chain pizza takeout.

We started with caprese salad with balsamic glaze. The salad was fresh, refreshing, and the sweet and tangy zing from the glaze left us salivating for more!

And boy did they deliver. Next came twenty buffalo wings, perfectly crisp yet saucy and piping hot! You know the wings are of high quality as they are the right size without too much fat.

Then came the Grandma. This will change your skepticism towards a Sicilian slice! This reminds me of Detroit style pizza - the dough is well risen and it's like you're biting clouds slathered with delicious tomato sauce and fresh basil! You can customize the toppings as much as you want, we stuck with pepperoni and mushroom. The pie could easily feed four people for lunch... And dinner!

This was a great experience - will definitely drive here again for our...

One of the best pizzas in Norwalk, and the surrounding area. Very happy with their regular pizza - got charred pepperoni cups, sausage, onion and garlic (pro tip - select “build your own” and you get five toppings), and buffalo wings and Thai chili wings. All were really delicious. The following weekend I got their grandma pie - it’s a thick crust - but airy and light with a really nice crisp on the exterior - think of it more like a focaccia pizza. Large can easily feed 4 adults - I sent myself into a proper food coma. The family running this place are really friendly and helpful. Note: name has changed to Corteza Pizza as of Jan 1, 2025.

I was in the area for a few days for work, and I was looking for a spot that had some good pizza or Italian dishes. This place came up highly rated, so I figured I would give it a shot. I ordered the cheese ravioli, which was outstanding. The place was clean and comfortable for sitting down to eat, and the gentleman behind the counter, whom I assumed to be the owner, was pleasant and gracious. As someone who moved to ATL from NYC, I always look forward to trips to the tri-state area for Italian food. You don't make it in that niche if your food isn't up to par. Corteza pizza was no exception!
