I completely forgot to leave a review, but this was truly one of the best restaurants I’ve visited recently what a place! I would give it a solid 5/5. As a Middle Eastern food lover, I was blown away by their shawarma platter, salads, and everything else on the menu it was all top-notch.
I visited New York a month ago and then headed to Connecticut. While there, I searched for the best restaurants and found this fast-food spot. I absolutely loved it! The way they received customers and the level of hospitality was outstanding. The people there were amazing. For me great customer service makes the whole experience and they nailed it.
Now, let’s talk about the food it tasted incredible. They told me they also serve biryani and haleem and as a huge haleem fan, I had to try it. I’ll never forget that taste! I even asked to meet the chef and they introduced me to Chef Bala. He made an unforgettable haleem that truly tasted like the original Hyderabadi Nizami haleem. I asked him how he made it and he told me he’s from Hyderabad and does this work with passion not just for money. You could really feel that in the food.
The prices were surprisingly affordable but the food was high-end. The quality, the people, the taste everything was superb. Honestly, this was one of my best experiences in years. I’m definitely coming back again, at least for the haleem!
Their biryani was also incredibly flavorful it felt like I was eating back home in Hyderabad, India. You guys are number one! Please maintain the same quality and standards you’re well on your way to being the best in North America.
I was in Norwalk, Connecticut for three days and I wholeheartedly enjoyed your food. The gyros, salads with egg, chicken sandwiches, wings, falafel you name it, you gave 100%! I love the food and service. They also have lamb and beef gyros, though I didn’t try the beef since I don’t eat it.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience keep doing what...

Tucked inside a Sinclair gas station, Halal Boyz might not look like much from the outside — but don’t let the location fool you. This place is dishing out some of the best halal food I’ve ever had, and I’ve been around the block more than a few times when it comes to combo over rice.
I went with the classic: chicken and lamb over rice. A staple I’ve had from countless spots — from the legendary NYC halal carts to Shah’s to The Halal Guys. And I’ve got to say, Halal Boyz stands out in a big way.
The lamb is solid, flavorful, and juicy, but the chicken is where things go from great to incredible. Freshly shaved off a rotating spit shawarma-style, it’s unbelievably tender and packed with flavor in every bite. You can taste the difference.
Honestly, this might be the best combo over rice I’ve ever had. I’m genuinely excited to see where Halal Boyz goes from here. Every great spot starts somewhere — and if this gas station location is just the beginning, big...

Halal Boyz is hands down one of the best spots in town for delicious, authentic halal food. Their biryani is a standout — aromatic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The rice is fluffy and spiced just right, with tender pieces of meat that make every bite satisfying.
I also tried their chicken over rice, and it was just as impressive. Juicy, well-marinated chicken served over a bed of seasoned rice, topped with their signature white and hot sauces — it hits the spot every time. Perfect balance of flavor, spice, and portion size.
And don’t sleep on their shawarma! The wrap was packed with tender, juicy meat and fresh veggies, wrapped in warm pita with the perfect amount of sauce. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is consistently excellent. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, Halal Boyz delivers on flavor and experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving top-notch halal...
