been coming here for years. I just left feeling so disappointed. waitress had a poor attitude. I asked her what was taking our order so long. She said "we only have two cooks". The place was at only 35% capacity. even being the Labor Day Holiday. it should have been ready to handle the crowed. I asked for chips and I was told there was none. having a movie planed to take my family and waiting 40 min, with no food. We decided to just leave. i went to the cashier to pay for the drinks. The manager came out to admit to me that they gave my order to another table. but what was insult to injury. he told me "whenever you order a molcajete. you need to call it in because it takes 25 min". I have been coming for years and at any other restaurant. I have never been asked to call in a menu item ahead of time for dinne in. even then it was 15 min past and I was told it will be ready in another 10 min. Instead of admitting to the mistake and making it right. he tried to make it seem like it was my fault. His ticket times were 25 min behind. Even a call in to go order was waiting almost as long as we were there. We thought he worked there. till latter figuring it out. So disappointed, so sad management and staff are not up to par with years...

PRICES ONLINE ARE NOT CORRECT! I ordered for the first time in many years because the reviews were good again. There are no prices on their actual menu and the online ordering was not working so I called in an order. Based on the pricing I could find online I ordered a small variety of items to really try a bit of everything. When I pull up to get my order, the total was very high but I thought, maybe the food is delicious now! Well they bring my order and tell me they need to charge me for 2 more enchiladas because they only had charged for one. Online they show $1.99 a la carte, which is how I ordered them. I ask the price and was told $3.25 each! I would be fine if it was anywhere close to the price showed online but that's a huge increase and of course, their paper menus say no prices and the receipt they give is not itemized. The food was decent but I will definitely not be...

We've been driving past this restaurant for five years thinking it was just another plain old Mexican restaurant. Boy, were we shocked with their quality, large menu, and the service was wonderful.

We were pleasantly surprised with how good their food is. Everything is homemade. They even offer handmade tortillas on weekends.

Upon trying out any new restaurant, we order basic items to test out first, because if the basics are lacking in flavor we don't need to return.

First, they do offer complimentary chips and salsa. Chips were thin and crisp. Their salsa has a little kick and very 1tasty. The chile rellenos were excellent, made from scratch. The enchiladas, both the cheese and beef were also really, really good.

Our only complaint is... Why didn't we stop...

Marquez has had its ups and downs. And let’s be real during the pandemic the struggle has been real. Wifey and I just love their menudo and we go about every 6-8 weeks as our routine for years now. Honestly can say we are back as faithful clients. Tasty with enough spice and meaty portions and the option to have pasta. Yum yum. The place has been remodeled a bit which is a bit more inviting. Now the service. Good to see Miguel still waiting tables it’s familial. But they can be overwhelmed at medium capacity. Sunday at 10am with only two servers, we didn’t get out until 11:30. According to my wife I eat fast so she t wasn’t me. I can be patient because we appreciate Marquez but it will be a bit slow experience so be prepared.

My brother and I went there it was our first time today , they gave an amazing discount for my Birthday , we both loved our meal the service was friendly and very helpful I do recommend the shredded beef enchiladas but with the green sauce instead of the red , the flavor was awesome and they were huge . The place was clean great atmosphere, seating was comfortable they even had an outside seating area that looked pretty cool too. Really enjoyed the experience and I plan to visit again , thank you.

I'm a Pastor meat eater and honestly, Marquez had some of the best pastor Tortas here. Huge Tortas. After this whole Quarantine, they lost their touch or hired new cook. Pastor doesn't taste the same. This last time I ordered Crunchy Chicken Tacos for my son's and had to throw The tacos away. Chicken was dry, burnt, tasted horrible. It's like they made these tacos with everything that was burnt and stuck on the bottom of pan.
