been coming here for years. I just left feeling so disappointed. waitress had a poor attitude. I asked her what was taking our order so long. She said "we only have two cooks". The place was at only 35% capacity. even being the Labor Day Holiday. it should have been ready to handle the crowed. I asked for chips and I was told there was none. having a movie planed to take my family and waiting 40 min, with no food. We decided to just leave. i went to the cashier to pay for the drinks. The manager came out to admit to me that they gave my order to another table. but what was insult to injury. he told me "whenever you order a molcajete. you need to call it in because it takes 25 min". I have been coming for years and at any other restaurant. I have never been asked to call in a menu item ahead of time for dinne in. even then it was 15 min past and I was told it will be ready in another 10 min. Instead of admitting to the mistake and making it right. he tried to make it seem like it was my fault. His ticket times were 25 min behind. Even a call in to go order was waiting almost as long as we were there. We thought he worked there. till latter figuring it out. So disappointed, so sad management and staff are not up to par with years...
Read morePRICES ONLINE ARE NOT CORRECT! I ordered for the first time in many years because the reviews were good again. There are no prices on their actual menu and the online ordering was not working so I called in an order. Based on the pricing I could find online I ordered a small variety of items to really try a bit of everything. When I pull up to get my order, the total was very high but I thought, maybe the food is delicious now! Well they bring my order and tell me they need to charge me for 2 more enchiladas because they only had charged for one. Online they show $1.99 a la carte, which is how I ordered them. I ask the price and was told $3.25 each! I would be fine if it was anywhere close to the price showed online but that's a huge increase and of course, their paper menus say no prices and the receipt they give is not itemized. The food was decent but I will definitely not be...
Read moreWe've been driving past this restaurant for five years thinking it was just another plain old Mexican restaurant. Boy, were we shocked with their quality, large menu, and the service was wonderful.
We were pleasantly surprised with how good their food is. Everything is homemade. They even offer handmade tortillas on weekends.
Upon trying out any new restaurant, we order basic items to test out first, because if the basics are lacking in flavor we don't need to return.
First, they do offer complimentary chips and salsa. Chips were thin and crisp. Their salsa has a little kick and very 1tasty. The chile rellenos were excellent, made from scratch. The enchiladas, both the cheese and beef were also really, really good.
Our only complaint is... Why didn't we stop...
