REV Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Norwich Township

I'm very confused what has happened here.. I hate to give bad reviews. This place used to be one of my favorite coffee shops. The staff was never particularly friendly, but the coffee was really good. I went here on a date recently and got an iced Americano, my usual go-to drink. The girl was sweet that took my order and made my drink, but as soon as I got my drink, it looked extremely light in color. I knew right away something wasn't right. I took a sip and it was pretty bad. I thought maybe she was newer and forgot a couple of shots. I went up and didn't say anything about the drink, but I ordered 2 more shots to hopefully fix the issue. I used to work at a coffee shop for over 8 years and a manager for 5 of those. I think the machine wasn't calibrated properly or something was wrong with the machine itself. The staff has been friendlier, which is definitely nice to see, but the quality has went way down. I don't think I'll be back...

I have been meaning to write my review ever since visiting the coffee shop. Rev is a newer shop, with delicious drinks and a really nice owner.

The coffee was delicious, but the creamer drinks were my absolute favorite!!! I ordered a roasted red pepper Turkey melt, a lavender latte, mint chocolate latte, a strawberry coconut creamer and a mango coconut creamer. The sandwich could use a sauce and thicker bread, but was decent. The lattes were delicious, but if you’re like me, you’ll want a little more sweetness added. The creamers were the star of the show for me! Creamy and sweet and refreshing. I will be back for more, but if you’re doing this do yourself a favor...

Would have been 5 stars but buddy working the desk on the early afternoon of Sunday August 19, 2023 was mad weird. He acted as if I was supposed to be a professional in terms of coffee, and responded to all my questions sarcastically. But that’s honestly just the beginning, while looking at the menus this man stared at me the ENTIRE TIME. And I was looking for a few minutes at least. An awkward, empty, dehumanizing stare. Customer service is not his calling and I would recommend you invest in some remedial training...
