Dunkin' — Restaurant in Norwich

I used to love this place. One lady who always work in the morning is always pleasant and always assured my order is correct. I come to the register and another woman and man are doing the front. I stand there for awhile before I'm even acknowledged. I tell the man how I want my coffee and the woman was right there listening to how I want my order. I tell her please please make sure it's not caffeine bc I have a bad reaction to caffeine. She writes exactly how I want it. Then I proceed to watch her pour me a caffeine coffee. I am dumbfounded. I tell her that's not decaf. She looks bewildered and throws out the coffee and goes to remake it. I tell her please don't bother and I explain that this is my health and please to be more careful. I can't go through drive through anymore bc of this and now can't come inside to talk to a worker and tell them my allergy to watch them not care and pour me a caffeine. I know exactly where the decaf coffee is located so I know if they are pouring decaf or not . I don't know how to get Dunkin to give me a decaf. Just so upsetting. Arrived in drive thru. Waited 20 min. Finally get to the place where you order. I order a corn muffin,hash browns and a water. Wait another 5 min for the person in front of me to get there order. I arrive at the cashier and he only charge me for hash browns n water. I say I ordered a corn muffin. The girl behind him says we don't have corn muffins...wait what. I just waited 25 min and you couldn't tell me that when I ordered it so I could've left. Then he hands me my water and says he needs hash browns. The girl hasn't even made them yet. 5 more mins go by and still no hash browns. So now half hour and all I got was water. Omg I was so frustrated I just left. Seriously this is the worst Dunkin and who ever owns this should really reconsider owning this place. Zero...

Highly recommend this particular dunkin in Norwich. Not because they’re good but they’re consistently so bad it’s actually impressive. It’s like watching Angel Reese highlights. Continuous misses after rebounding their own shots and thinking they’re doing well. You will ironically be expectedly disappointed. The staff is so busy talking to themselves that they must feel like they’re in an episode of The Office. Definitely some Jim, Pam action going on between whoever thinks they’re Jim or Pam. I stood in line once for 10 mins without anyone behind me and in-front of me but I did hear the girls talking shit about a guy so that was an enjoyable waste of time.

And if you’re thinking about drive thru, set aside 10 mins at least WITHOUT anyone else in line. Bring a sleeping bag if there is a big line. I think the staff lacks comprehension so they have to match symbols like little kids to make sure they grab the correct flavor but even then they get it wrong sometimes. I choose this Dunkin (Salem Turnpike Norwich, Ct) because it’s very convenient and in the same plaza as my job. But it is the absolute worst lately! My order is never correct! When they run out of something they don’t let the customers know they just replace it with whatever they want. I have made several complaints and at one point I was told by an employee the store was being ran without a manager. When I asked for a phone number to call, I was told oh our general manager just pulled up in the parking lot. You can talk to her, she stated that the store didn’t have a manager and she was working to make things better she also said the store didn’t have a working telephone. She didn’t even have manager etiquette. To say the least nothing has changed since two months ago when she and I spoke. I honestly don’t think she was a manager. Everyone is to busy playing on their cell phones to pay attention to customer orders. Also once I waited about 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged!
