Boba Fusion & Cafe — Restaurant in Novi

Found this place on Google maps, and I should have gone somewhere else. I ordered, and then she just walked away and started making the drinks, not asking for cash or card. There was a man that I assumed was shadowing her, and I asked if they took cash, and he just said yes and then stood there awkwardly. Once she had 1 of the 2 drinks made, she realized I hadn't paid yet.. and had to ask what I was giving her. She had to punch it into the system to know my change, but still then, she didn't give me my change of 4 cents. I asked for my change, and she said all, "I have is this" and proceeds to hold up a nickle. I said nevermind it's 4 pennies, but it's the principal of knowing how to count cash correctly. Then, without washing her hands after handling money. She goes back and puts my second drink into the lid machine. Once I left, my first drinks boba was still hard and crunchy.. I wasn't bothering with going back and dealing with getting my money back when cash was not the strong suit. Won't be going back, just...

I’ve been to a lot of different Boba Tea establishments in various countries and unfortunately, I’d have to say that this is the worst one I’ve been to. Apart from the server disappearing for a few minutes, the service was great, but I didn’t come for that. The TV screens which I presume were for the menus were switched off and the store had a lifeless feel to it (no music etc). The ‘Brown Sugar Milk Boba’ was watery, had a strong tea taste (when it shouldn’t) and didn’t have the sweet milky brown sugar taste I had been accustomed to when getting this drink everywhere else I’d ordered at. Also, she shook the drink in front of me when that is normally left to the customer to do. My friend told me his Matcha was similarly unimpressive. I hated to do it after spending over $7, but I didn’t finish mine and I threw it out. I won’t be coming back. Sorry…just telling it...

Negative vibes, sorry but I asked for medium so can I like get my money, oh no then get a honest review, this atmosphere was weird, I asked for medium but they give me large and no change, service made me a little uncomfortable and it simply made me think they only treat people close to them and actually listen and for sure pissed me off when I didn’t get my change. Come at your own risk ⚠️⛔️ unless you know them personally. Don’t come unless you know how to talk and be clear to them you do NOT WANT A LARGE!! This is such a scam. The boba tasted supper bad. They kinda acted creepy and it made me uncomfortable. For 10 dollars and so little of a drink is unbelievable. I won’t be buying from here...
