I never have a horrible experience coming here but today was beyond horrible. I ordered 2 chicken fingers and fries kids meal and 1 cheese burger and fries kids meal I showed the waitress that it was suppose to be kids meals and said it. She also saw that I was only with my kids. Lastly, I ordered drinks for my kids . It says clear on the menu if kids are 10 and under a 12 oz soft drink comes with the meal. All 3 of my kids are under 10. But when I got my bill she charged me for 3 adult meals instead of kids and charged me for adult soft drinks then she admitted to her mistake and had the manager come out to speak to me. Instead of fixing my bill completely he basically said that it was my fault he said I’m suppose to say the kids meal that I ordered are all kids meals more than once. He made it seem like his staff is incompetent. Like you have to keep saying what you want and maybe even spell it out for them. If she was confused she could’ve asked for clarification. He said it with a really bad attitude to the point where it was completely disrespectful. I will not be coming here again. The fact that he blamed me for not ordering like a kindergartener is insane. I shouldn’t have to spell it out for your staff. If I say it and show it to you that should be good enough. Noone should be a manager if they don’t know customer service. I never gave this man a hard time or his staff. I’m always nice to them and I loved coming there. But never again. The bill wasn’t fully fixed either...
Read moreWhen I have an uncomfortable experience with one, I won't go back. So, I won't be returning. Yesterday, I placed a carryout ordered for my family (a gyro platter, a gyro sandwich w/fries and coney.). The AA waitress taking our order was smug and so unfriendly, as if she was doing us a favor by taking our order. She also stared at me the entire time I was there with a smig look. (No idea why). My aunt, who paid for the order, detected the same. So, she didn't leave a tip. She just paid them left to go sit in the car. When the order was up, it sat on the counter. It wasn't until I walked over to the counter to inquire about a slice of chocolate cake that the waitress said "This is your order." She then said the cake came to $6.68. (Really? For a piece of cake??? 😂). So, I gave her $7 then handed her a $2 tip (just being nice). She went into the back to wrap the cake, came out, handed me the bag, but never gave me my change from the $7. Nonetheless, I just took the bag and left because I just wanted to get out of there. Then I get home and there's no sauce for the gyro platter. Was that intentional? 😂
But, overall, the other wait staff were very friendly. No customer should ever feel that a wait staff should bend over backwards to please them. But at least be courteous and professional, and not make the customer feel uncomfortable and as if you're doing them a favor by taking...
Read moreVery disrespectful! Last time that I EVER step foot through your door again. Went to Novi Coney Island yesterday. Have been going there for years. The tall, grey haired, owner and one of the waitresses waited until me and my girlfriend got settled in a booth.
YOUR SIGN CLEARLY SAYS SEAT YOURSELF. Think about it.
Then, you tell me that I have to get up to sit at the booth in the back near the bathroom. Your reason was because the people sitting in the booth behind me had some people coming. That makes no sense! Why not sit their LATE friends in the booth near the bathroom? They still would have been sitting near each other. Let me help you out. None of your customers want to sit in a booth right near the restrooms. The reason is obvious!
There was no way the customer you tried to make happy was going to be facing their guests either. The booths have a high backing barrier between them.
The right thing to do would have been to reserve TWO TABLES for the guest you thought were so important, make them wait until their FULL PARTY arrived for seating, put some type of notice at the booth, or tell me the table was reserved before I even sat there and got comfortable.
No matter. You lost a faithful customer with actions like that. I will be sure to tell my friends NOT...
