UPDATE 7/29/22: I almost want to give it 1 star, but the food was still good. There is no buffet currently (not surprising). We were seated and the host immediately brought cheap Costco bottled water to the table instead of glasses of water (he didn't ask us if we wanted them). My bottle was not even sealed! The food took a VERY long time, even though it was not at all busy (2 other tables). The food was good though. Time for the bill and the price is considerably higher than expected, so I asked how that worked out. Turns out, they have menus on the table that have prices, and a little placard with a QR code that just says "Menu" and you're supposed to magically know that that means the prices were updated in that online menu...why would you scan something that just says "Menu" when you have physical menus at the table!?! And as an example of the level of price increase, my item was $11.99 in the paper menu, but it was $14.99 on the bill. Also we were charged for the bottled water we did not ask for (just 50 cents a piece, but the principle!) Now, here's where it gets just surreal: she tells us that we can get a 10% discount if we pay cash, so we each give her a $20 bill and she comes back with a $5 bill for us to split ourselves (she said my change was "about $3" and the other person's was "about $2". Are you kidding me? You offer a discount to pay cash, but you can't make change?? And what happened to the discount?? They owed me "about $6".
ORIGINAL REVIEW: The lunch buffet was delicious and a very reasonable price ($9.99). The buffet had a very good variety between meat and vegetable dishes, and the manager (owner?) was very friendly and explained the unfamiliar dishes in the buffet for us. I especially liked the mutton curry and the paneer (cheese) curry. There wasn't anything I would consider to be more spicy than a "medium", which I think is a good idea for a buffet. I could tell even without reading other reviews that they had recently remodeled, it looks really nice and clean and modern. They also have punch cards (fill it up and get a free meal). We will definitely...
Read moreMy family and I went to Daawath Indian Cuisine for many years. We really loved it there. Thoughout the time however, it seems as if this restaurant lost its quality in food, and care for the customer. When you’re in a food industry, it is very important that the food is high quality, the staff are compassionate, and the food, customers, and environment are safe. The reason I mention safe is because when my family and I went in the recent years, there was always MULTIPLE times where we got food items in the food. One time my sibling got a staple in the food which she took from her mouth, today, my father got a small piece of plastic (seems like a broken container piece) coughed up to get it out to his mouth, and multiple other times, we got hair in our foods. We kept coming back because the food is really good, I will admit, and some days, when we are lucky, we don’t get food items in our food which is why we came so many times. But we have not been accommodated for some of those times where we found faults in the food. I hope they (the owner & staff) learn to be more careful with how they serve the customer. It is very disappointing and heartbreaking that used to be one of my favorite Indian restaurants in town, is lacking quality. This is VERY hazardous as if my sibling or dad injected them, we would’ve taken serious action. Again, this is my honest review. I’m not really the one to write negative reviews, but I have to be honest with my experience and let you all...
Read moreSummary, I do not recommend this restaurant because Incorrect pricing Missing items in order Long wait time
This restaurant has always have long wait time. You should expect the food to be ready over an hour by the time you place the order.
I've placed a take out order via phone, the order was missing a share of garlic naan that I got charged for. I called the restaurant and they told me to come back and get the missing item. It wasn't worth the drive so I told them not to worry about it. If you want to order take out from this restaurant, I recommend to open the bag and make sure you have everything you should get.
I just ordered an other take out via phone, the yellow printed menu that they put throughout the restaurant listed the order should've $27.99. I ended up being charged $35 + 10% off cash discount. I bought back the order to the restaurant and they said the online price is the correct price and the print out menus in the restaurant is outdated and said I should refer to the pricings online. Please don't believe the amount that they ask for. Do not pay in cash because you will lose the traceability. Always order online because you get more confirmed pricing and refund policies.
Attached phone shows the order I received, the QR code to the online menu and the yellow printed menu placed around...
