I’ve been excited to try mochi donuts for a while now and finally got my chance to. We got 6 different flavors to try. Biscoff, red velvet, churro, cosmic brownie, ube/taro, and black sesame. I didn’t know this but the flavor actually comes from the different icing and not from the donut itself. The donut texture was nice and chewy and I had varying thoughts on the flavors. I didn’t think I’d like the biscoff but it was actually our favorite. The flavor really came through and reminded us of maple pancakes. The churro tasted exactly like a regular churro but more chewy. Red velvet tasted like regular cake with the frosting. The cosmic brownie tasted just like a regular chocolate coated donut. The black sesame had a surprisingly strong sesame flavor. The ube/taro flavor didn’t come through as much and tasted mainly of frosting. Most of them were fine but I would definitely come back for the biscoff.
We also got drinks. Both of us got milk teas with cream cheese. Unfortunately we were both very disappointed by them as they tasted mainly of just milk. This could have been an error on our part when we ordered them but just keep it in mind if you plan on getting one.
The service and atmosphere were both great and very welcoming. I would come back if I was in the area to try other flavors and maybe a...

We walked in at 7:00 PM (they close at 8), and the place looked like a ghost town. One guy was in the back…we made eye contact, so he knew we were there, but he chose to ignore us like we were invisible. Even the shelves were empty. I checked my watch just to make sure I wasn’t losing it… nope, it was 7:02.
I tried a polite “Excuse me.” Nothing. Waited a bit and said it again…crickets. I turned to my daughters and said, “Are we on a hidden camera show?” Because this felt like a prank. Finally, I raised my voice: “HELLO! Do you work here?!” Only then did he slowly wander out like we were interrupting his spa day.
He mumbled that they were out of donuts but could make drinks. No apology, no care, just vibes.
So we left and went to Tous Les Jours instead…amazing service, friendly staff, and actual pastries. Imagine that.
Mochi Dough? Never again. If your employee treats customers like a nuisance, it’s time to take your appetite (and your money)...
Read moreDonuts taste AMAZZZING they are so pretty and perfect!! They look so pretty and perfect I just can’t express how great they are and I think as a gift would be a wonderful idea! It’s super pretty inside and as a great aesthetic for a date! The area is spacious and seriously you’d get so many good pics if you wanted. Price wise it’s on brand for a mochi donut place and it’s just so dang tasty with all those flavors I can’t wait to dig in!
But… I paid extra for the pudding custard in my drink, and unless it was blended into the drink I didn’t get it. Cool, wasn’t even going to bring it up bc it was minor (you can see in the pic there’s no yellow cubes at the bottom but idk maybe it’s blended). The machines ask for tip, is kinda weird since you place the order yourself but whatever it’s 2025 everywhere does it so whatever I tipped. My biggest shocker was when I asked for an extra small box to put some of the dozen donuts I paid 36$ for and was told no. Sorry mom you gotta take your donuts with napkins 🙂 at least tell me “it’s a dollar for...
