Dunkin' — Restaurant in Nutley

This Dunkin Donuts is fine, don't get me wrong, but please avoid this Dunkin Donuts like the plague during weekday mornings. I have done just that several times, and every time it was just a complete madhouse in the parking lot. This morning as I was in the parking lot at 7:15am, it was a complete gridlock with cars flowing out onto the street in all three entrances.

A lady in a BMW SUV stuck halfway onto the street was yelling at the top of her lungs at a guy in a sedan. She screamed "I was here first!!! I'm not stopped in the street for my health you know!!!" I thought the guy was trying to steal a spot that she had been eyeing, but it looks like the guy already got his food and was just trying to get out.

Another guy in a sedan pulled out of his parking space in the middle of the mess, and started flinging his arms at the cars around him; I'm no lip reader, but sounds like he was yelling "MOVE! MOVE!"

And I don't even want to mention the impatience of the customers in line inside this morning. I feel bad for the workers.

The morning-time customers here are nuts, not just today but also with one prior experience... but at least I can say they will get their much needed delicious coffee at this Dunkin Donuts to calm their crankiness!

I don’t usually ever write reviews and if I do it’s mostly good. However, I can’t tolerate this treatment I receive by the morning shift. First off, the manager is heavily towards anyone who isn’t a minority which is very distasteful. Today this incident occurred where I ordered my regular drink order as I do EVERY day MULTIPLE times a day for my friend’s mom but today was different. I was called a liar and told I was “cheating the system”. I respectfully told the manager that I regularly have this same drink order and that my friend’s family literally orders this same drink order also multiple times a day with ZERO issue. Who would’ve known, they’re white im not! Found out i’m not crazy, she does this regularly to other people too!! I’m a reserved person and by no means would I ever lash out at a food industry worker, I understand how it’s like myself but this has gotten too much. Literally as far that I don’t willingly ever want to enter this location during the morning. I refuse to keep quiet about this because its completely unfair. I am completely okay with paying the price of ice but next time don’t be a rude person and fill half the cup with ice crazy how you expect me to pay a...

The staff is very pleasant here, however, if you come here early in the morning around the 6 o'clock hour, and the door is locked on one end of the store, they are most likely open. Just walk around to the other entrance. I almost made the mistake of thinking they were closed this morning because one door was locked. Upon walking to my car in defeat, I saw a few of the employees there. I realized that I had to walk around to the other entrance to walk in. Another morning, I just thought they were closed and was very late for work driving to another location to get coffee. Looking back in hindsight, I wonder if they were open, and just did not unlock the door. But other than that, I feel like this location offers the freshest and best tasting bagels...
