Dunkin' — Restaurant in Nutley

while we were out recently we decided to go to Dunkin Donuts. As we're always in Dunkin Donuts we try and find a different Dunkin to try each time and we're glad we tried this one that I believe I posted the first photo up when they opened up a couple years ago! parking here is a bit small although at the time we went there is plenty of space is available. The restaurant was clean and roomy and had nice window seating to enjoy people watching have people stopped for the traffic light outside. the man who took our order was very nice and polite and even made a special effort to thank me for giving him change on a Sunday as they can't get to the bank on Sunday to replenish their change if they run out. For the time there I noticed that he was very courteous to all the customers that came in making it feel as if they were regulars even when they weren't regulars in the store. This is great customer service, it's the kind of thing that will make us come back to this location...

This location has gotten my order wrong 3 times in a row. First time ordered no cheese on veggie egg white wrap with bacon. Got cheese. Next time, same thing, but I checked before I left and asked them to be remade with no cheese. Remade them with regular eggs instead of veggie egg whites. Third time, reiterate no cheese three times to cashier, then asked the pickup window to confirm no cheese. Still got cheese, and actually shorted me one of six regular wake up wraps. Total that up and 3 overall orders wrong, but 5 mistakes. 🙄. Clearly a systemic issue. The no cheese is an allergy issue and important to get right. Fortunately there is another DD location equal distance the other direction. I will be going there...

Now maybe it’s because I’ve only been around the Newark Dunkin Donuts, but this is by far the best Dunkin Donuts I’ve ever been to. The ambient is very different and it feels like a place you can relax and have a good conversation in, the donuts here are more varied and are pretty fresh in comparison to other places, and the service was wonderful; the younger lady that took our order reassured us on taking our time, had a vibrant and professional attitude, offered on any additional food that is typically liked and was quick to make sure our order was correct when I changed what’s commonly added...
