Found this mom and pops Italian deli And it was great. I felt like my nonna was making me a sandwich. It was nice.

So the sandwich was custom-made. They do have suggestions on their menu. If you can make up your mind.

Order 1 was a turkey ,provolone with lettuce, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil and mayo

Order 2 was chicken, cutlet, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried, tomatoes, mayo, salt, pepper, oregano, vinegar , olive oil and prosciutto

And man it was nice

My friend and I ate at petes today, first time. We went there by accident because the deli we were going to ended up being closed for vacation. Petes was very good. Excellent sandwiches. I had the sauge and peppers, and my friend had the eggplant parmigiana. Both were out of this world! The sandwich was overflowing. I also bought a pound of tottalis (spelling??) They were great, too. True Italian deli. The ladies that work there are very pleasant. No seating , just one outside table. I will be back for more. Look for the special of the day. I forgot to take...

So honestly I’ve been here a bunch of times and the sandwiches are good and the staff is friendly

But last time I went it was just a gross experience. The woman helped the people before me with gloves on, touched money with those gloves, then made the next persons sandwich and took their money without changing the gloves out.

She could have had that same pair of gloves on all morning touching money and food and who knows what else. I’d have even preferred no gloves at all as opposed to not changing the same pair all day. Got...
