CVS — Local services in Nutley

Wow. Just wow! I've been using this CVS for the past few months, and all my experiences weren't bad until today, July 20, 2025. I went to pick up photos—I did order online, and I also paid everything online. When picking up photos, I went to the photo section where I saw a young lady (I didn't get her name). I said to her, "I'm here to pick up some photos for Thiania Daniels." She said, "Well, you have to get in line." I looked around and said to her, "Where is the line?" because it was 8:50 in the morning, and there was no one there. She said, "Well, you have to go to the front register." I said OK. She said I have to wait, then she went to get the photos and came back. She said, "You're paying with card or cash," and I said to her, "Well, I already paid online." She said, "I have to scan it—it's the last step to scan it still." I said OK, that's fine. She went ahead and scanned it at the self-checkout, put the photos down, and walked away. She literally scanned it and walked away without saying anything. What kind of customer service is this? (HER ATTITUDE WAS AWFUL)

Honestly, I'm not a person who normally writes bad reviews or anything like this, but honestly, I felt so hurt because my gesture was good. I'm a person who works in customer care, so I always treat people well. For her to treat me the way she did this morning was uncalled for. I don't know if it had anything to do with race—I don't know, and I don't even want to play the race card—but there's no other reason she had to treat me the way she did for no reason at all. ImI'm not the type of person who tries to get people in trouble or lose their job or anything like that. There may be problems with their work, but honestly, I think she needs to be trained on how to treat customers. CVS, please take the time to teach your workers how to...

I feel harassed by the manager, he approaches me to tell me about the use of CVS accounts that is not allowed without me asking him about it, so I wonder if he was watching me the whole time, I also felt watched by a cashier and, I wonder if using cvs coupons is worse than those who steal in the store to which they neither lift a finger nor risk themselves but come to bother and disturb regular customers, in general, now I wonder why they always have a stocked store is because they have little customer traffic if they are the same with me with other people, surely they will not come back more. The CVS pharmacy in all its stores need to train those managers and cashiers who make their own rules with whoever they want and humiliating or accusing customers, I go to the store to buy calmly at a store and it is not fair that I have to deal with this type of employees and...

CVS is the typical mega corporation that pays gratuitous lip service to customers, being a long time (40+ year) one myself. There is a revolving door of pharmacist and behind the counter personnel, (excluding Demi, who is great. They don’t look at you and have no interest in your individual/personal business with them. They fit in well with the big Pharma cast of money grabbers. I’ll find a new pharmacy today and chances are they will be better than the CVS. Realizing that this one wronged customer won’t mean much to their pockets, I will still have my say, and never spend another dime there.
