Overall everything was just...okay. Came in on the last day of the grand opening 20% off special. My friend and I only waited for about 5 mins for a table for 2 on a Saturday evening around 6:15pm. The restaurant filled up pretty fast, and there were a lot of takeout orders, but could just be because of the 20% off special.
We each order the shrimp tempura udon, and split the B5 garlic salmon, ebi, ahi, and hamaci, and a 2 pc spicy ahi bomb. We also ordered 2 hot green tea, which were warm at best. They were steeped with loose leaf rather than tea bags. The food also came out pretty fast. The udon soup broth was unfortunately super bland. Tempura shrimp were the similar to Kirkland signature, but I think Kirkland signature tempura shrimp might actually be better/heftier. I did enjoy the B5 garlic combo and all the fish were nicely torched with the garlic and unagi sauce. Ahi bomb was also good, packed well with the spicy tuna. They did give each of us heaping mounds of wasabi, which I as a wasabi lover appreciated. So yeah overall food was okay. I equate it to fast sushi, similar to Kozo.
The dining area itself is pretty spacious and has quite a few tables. Annoyingly, the tables by the window are on a slope. Like if you had a marble on the table, it would literally roll. Parking is standard within the plaza. Service was fast and attentive, and they all seemed to be on top of any requests. Currently BYOB.
Service was pretty...

Our server was super friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time there. She let us know that with our larger group, it would be more worth it to order a platter instead of individual sushi rolls. She also mentioned that the set platters are customizable, so we could swap items out. If you're switching something for a higher-end item, there's an upcharge, but if you're swapping something like seared salmon or ahi for regular, there's no extra cost, which was a nice touch.
The food overall was great! My only minor note was the teriyaki sauce on the seared nigiri. it was a bit sweet and heavy for my taste, so I might ask for it on the side next time. Otherwise, everything was awesome and I'd...
Read moreCustomer service alone sold me on the place. First time coming in and being greeted by such kind and energetic staff was only the beginning! My wife and I, along with family, decided to try Domo for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Not only was it friendly on the wallet but the fatty cuts of fresh salmon and ahi were delicious!! The Aburi Platter is a must have! As well as their Seared Scallop bowl!! I live in Kahuku and I'd still make the drive out here to eat! Shout out to Ebony for the welcoming and...
