Spotted this place, driving around and decided to stop. First of all, the staff was awesome. Very friendly and gave great recommendations. I ordered the pork plate lunch. They also have sauces you can add on the condiment counter, so I grabbed some BBQ sauce. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center where it's located and parking is free. During events, parking could be difficult to find, though. Anyhow, the Kalua pork was absolutely amazing! Very tender and flavorful. Tried the pork with the BBQ sauce, and I have to say either option is great, but what I really base my reviews on is the stand alone taste of the food and I have to say I was very happy with the taste. We all were, actually. We all had some form of pork. My buddy and his wife raved about their Kalua pig nachos. It seems that rice is pretty standard here in Hawaii with meals, and ours came with the rice. It also came with a salad that had papaya seed dressing. I really liked the dressing. I could drink that stuff. All in all, this place and service was great. We did want to eat outside, but there were too many little black ants crawling on the picnic tables outside, so we ended up going in. I do highly recommend stopping by and trying their food. You won't be disappointed! If you read my review, please hit the like button. Thank you.

Ray is the owner/manager and was super respectful, jovial, courteous and genteel. Nice to meet you man! The environment has plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The chairs are metal so bring a towel you can fold up if you have no butt to cushion your experience. Food was great! Pricing is decent and it’s great because you are supporting local businesses. Especially after European colonialism and the heavy white presence here. Remember to respect the people and the culture. This isn’t just a paradise excursion. This is a land where the people have for generations established a kingdom and we are visitors against their will so show respect. The music is calming and the location was easy to access. The portions are kinda small. At least for me. I’m an average 6’4” 250 lbs and I EAT. So I probably wouldn’t come here if I was extremely hungry but the meal is a good lean meal to get your day started or if you just need to fill yourself to stave off hunger. Or if you’re a smaller person with a regular appetite. lol. Also I think the portions are for white people that serve as the majority of the people here so I’m not surprised the local businesses would make portions to serve the primary audience. In any case an excellent restaurant. Remember to support the locals here. Not white colonialism.

Came in on a Tuesday morning, placed an online order since this is during the covid crisis. There were multiple people waiting for their food without masks on, which, whatever- fine. I’ll keep my distance- and I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the restaurant it’s self, but maybe ask your customers to have on a mask in front of your communal areas? Just a thought. Onto the food, we ordered a Waimea bomber and a turkey club wrap. We were super disappointed to discover that the bacon in both items was microwaved bacon. The potatoes and eggs were okay. Nothing to rave about. The turkey club wrap had one very skimpy slice of deli turkey, the microwave bacon, a thin slice of tomato and a TON of mixed greens. Seriously, this wrap was all greens. I wish I had taken a picture, but of course the one time I don’t. I might give this place a second chance in the future, likely not. But maybe. Would not recommend to a friend at all.

Good experience but there were just too many mistakes, each of our burritos were wrong. NOTE: The guy was new and training, but there’s no reason for this many mistakes on simple breakfast wraps. One of our burritos was a vegetarian one and the guy put bacon. Another one was supposed to have avocado and it didn’t- it was put on another burrito despite us telling the worker. In addition, we asked for them to be cut (they asked us if we wanted it cut) but they weren’t, and they did not give us the sour creams we paid for. 2 of the burritos tasted good but the guy needs to be trained better or taken off the grill/assembly area. Unfortunately he had no clue. Also very overpriced for burritos. The iced vanilla Mac coffees on the other hand were very good. I believe this place is famous and well-known for a reason, but the new staff should be trained better and mistakes should be dealt with better. The lady did refund for a burrito and wrong topping, but at that point we could not enjoy...
