L&L Hawaiian Barbecue (Kapolei Marketplace) — Restaurant in Oʻahu

There are TONS of choices for everyone to choose from. They have a “healthier” menu but I wouldn’t necessarily classify it as “healthy.” In any regards, all of their food is good. There really is sooo much to choose from, so I like the fact that they have pictures of every menu item on the walls to help you choose.

I finally figured out what I wanted, and it was the Loco Moco (about $10). You can choose from two different sizes - regular or large. I went for the regular which included two beef patties on top of a bed of rice, smothered in brown gravy, with macaroni salad on the side. The regular size was PLENTY of food to eat. It was good, but just not a lot of seasoning or flavor to it.

Update 3/31/2017: Dawn was amazing once again! She immediately greeted me as I walked through the door! While trying to decide what i wanted, Dawn informed me that I could combo anything on the menu if i was stuck between two choices. I asked if it was okay to do x+x and she promptly checked. While ringing me up, she offered me water while i waited and even asked if i preferred ice or no ice. This was amazing because the norm is just to give iced water, but i actually like my water without ice. As she brought my food over, she informed that there was a mistake on the kitchen side and said they were working on correcting my order; and offered me the extra food as well. Haven't eaten at an L&L location in years and was really looking forward to try it again. This was my first time at this location and at this time, the store had a 3.9 star rating, but based on my past nostalgia, I had a good feeling this place should be receiving better ratings. The food alone deserves 5 stars and that's the main reason I would visit any establishment. The proteins were very crispy on the outside, yet juicy on the inside! We got so much food for what you pay for. The previous day we had gone to a more fancy restaurant and nearly 2.5 times more but left barely feeling full.
