I don’t understand the low review scores. People think this is Japan level quality but this is gyu-don. This is Japanese comfort food. Get the egg topping with pretty much any gyu-don bowl. Katsu curry is legit too. Even got tai-yaki. Don’t believe the reviews, go get some good quality Japanese food with ono rice that don’t feel like bird seed or cheap rice mix like most “local” places now. This has to be the worst udon place I’ve ever been to. We ordered the beef udon and large chicken katsu rice bowl and were thoroughly disappointed. The portions were tiny similar to kids sized. The udon noodle soup looked and tasted like the cheap instant udon soup packages that you buy at the store. The noodles itself looked like American chicken noodle soup, the ones in the can. It was not the authentic udon noodles that are round and long. The “large” sized katsu had maybe 5-6 pieces on a bed of a lot of rice. No sauce and very bare.
