EDIT- Shouldnt have given another chance but it’s the closest place I can get a bagel near my office. Paid an extra $1 for extra avocado, got three slices of BLACK avocado. I was there early in the morning and don’t know how an avocado could get black from when they opened to when I was served, so it was likely at least sitting out overnight. Can’t beleive they’d serve that.
I'm a big Panera fan but this location has issues with staff and food quality. I have never had an order come out by the time it was promised, even when I order 30+ minutes before even leaving to pick it up because I know how slow they are. I assumed it was because I always came around lunch, but recently I keep having poor experiences even outside of peak hours. Earlier this week I went in to place an order around 7:40am. No one was in there. Two girls at the counter. I say hello when I walk in and they turned their backs to me to continue talking, so I use the kiosk. When I'm leaving another employee is so deep in her conversation shes having with a coworker as she walks into the dining area, she bumped straight into me. I kept trying to move out of her way and said "oh, excuse me" but she was completely unaware that a customer was there, and I spilled my coffee. Today I ordered avocado toast for pickup. Showed up at the promised time and it was not ready. Waited 15 minutes and had to leave for work as I was late at that point. I tried to flag down any team member to ask when it would be ready or if I can cancel it, and they all avoided eye contact and ignored me. So I left. It really seems the staff does not have any care for customer experience. I feel unwelcomed and like the staff can care less if I get my food. I have also had several instances here where I was served a salad with rotten ingredients, and the quality of their fresh ingredients seems poor. I understand things go bad, but someone should have noticed a moldy tomato or black, slimy lettuce sitting on top of a salad they're serving. All goes back to the staff not caring, and likely, poor management. I worked in food service, mainly cafes, for years and know this would not fly anywhere else. I know it is a hard job, but you are not doing that job if the customer is not getting what they pay for, and also if you are not providing ANY customer service. Read moreit took me a while to write a review. I do go to work like most people in morning to work and always have only few minutes to gram my breakfast. Since this is considered healthier option by most or not this is what to expect. 90 percent of the time my order is not ready on time, many times order was not the way I order every day, I mean same place every morning! Not to mention my order was stolen dozen of times as well. After many complains still were issues. I had food poisoned few weeks ago really bad I can not normally work my whole week. Who knows someone may have done on purpose. Sandwich was not tasting good as always, and they are not the same when they came out at first either. Stop eating at Panera Bread and found way better alternative. Sadly this company can not handle their demand of orders, neither hire enough people and properly train them. Some of their workers don't even speak English. Portion size can be one day half the size comparing to another day and how you list calories when you cant even make equal in size. one time someone grabbed my sandwich and they took other persons sandwich added ingredients was missing compared to mine wrapped back and said here we go its same sandwich. Read moreI visited this location with a my husband lunch during our lunch break. The cashier took our order and gave us a pager number. We sat down to wait for our food. Our receipt has the time stamp of 1:47 pm. We waited patiently for quite a while before I began noticing that other customers who had sat down after us had received their food. At 2:10 I went to the food window and saw that my order was there but was pushed off to the side. The person who had delivered all of the orders to those around me was standing there looking through a to go order. She then walked away. I reached for my food and was told by the cook that they would bring it to me. I replied that I had already waited 25 minutes. Her response was "well we've been busy". I grabbed my order and took it to our table. We had ordered two of the pick 2 combos. My grilled cheese was assembled in such a way that the bread did not match up.
